State of Origin is back once again in 2016 with the Queensland Maroons and NSW Blues set to resume their rivalry on Wednesday night. Here you’ll find all the information you need to watch the game, whether you’re looking to live stream it online or watch it on TV.

The Nine Network has the exclusive rights to broadcast State of Origin all locked up and for that reason, you won’t be able to find a live stream on the Foxtel Go or Foxtel Play apps, nor will you be able to watch the match live on Fox Sports.

STATE OF ORIGIN LIVE SCORES

Instead the only legitimate way to live stream the match will be via the NRL Digital Pass which can be used to live stream every game of the NRL season – including representative matches like State of Origin – to your PC, phone or tablet.

There are two payment options for the NRL Digital Pass – you can either pay $2.99 per week, or purchase a year-long subscription for $89.99.

There is a one-week free trial for new users, however, so if you’ve not given the service a go already in the past you will be able to sneak in at least one game of the State of Origin series that way.

In terms of watching the game on TV, as already mentioned it is exclusive to the Nine Network. It will be broadcast on Channel 9 and on 9HD, with coverage set to begin at 7:30pm AEST, and expected to wrap up at 10:30pm AEST.

If you’re looking to catch a replay after the match, Fox Sports 1 will have it starting from 10pm AEST on Wednesday night, and will regularly replay the match in the days that follow.

Lastly, The Roar will of course have a live blog of the match right here – make sure to join us for live scores and updates from the match, not to mention the debate and banter throughout.
