The Titans beat Souths in a golden-point thriller in Perth last week, while Parramatta should be fresh after a bye.

It will be the first time Nathan Peats will face his old club, after he was squeezed out of Parramatta as a victim of the salary cap drama earlier in the season. Peats has been named on the Titans’ interchange bench.

Ryan James will be hoping to continue his recent good form, as with Boyd Cordner injured and unavailable for Game 2 of this year’s State of Origin series, James’ name could be tossed around the Blues’ selection table.

Gold Coast have named a 19-man squad, with Warriors’ mid-season signing Konrad Hurrell and rookie Cameron Cullen on an extended bench. Otherwise, the team is unchanged from the line-up that beat Souths last week.

Parramatta will be without injured skipper Kieran Foran. Backrower Kenny Edwards has been named at five-eighth, with Corey Norman moving to halfback, where he will shoulder the responsibility of being the Eels’ playmaker.

Centre Michael Jennings missed Parramatta’s last match due to Origin duty, but returns this week in place of the injured Brad Takairangi. Bevan French retains his place on the wing after an impressive debut in Round 12 against Newcastle.

Prediction
The Gold Coast just keep surprising everyone this year. They should consolidate their place in the top eight with a close win over the Eels.
