Highlights: Scotland beat Japan 21-16 in second Test

Greig Laidlaw kicked four penalties in the second half as Scotland rallied to beat Japan 21-16 in Saturday’s second rugby Test in Tokyo, securing a 2-0 series win.

Japan led 13-9 at halftime and then 16-9 via a penalty by Yu Tamura in the 49th minute.

Laidlaw kicked his first penalty in the 52nd and put his team ahead for good in the 71st as the visitors took advantage of Japan’s lack of discipline.

He extended the lead to five points in the 77th minute and Scotland held on to add to their 26-13 win in the first Test.

Kaito Shigeno scored the only try of the match when he completed a spectacular run in the 20th minute as Japan went ahead 10-6.

Henry Pyrgos kicked three first-half penalties for Scotland.
