3: Rory Sloane – Led the Crows engine room and shook the Trent Dumont tag. 30 disposals including 13 tackles.

2: Matt Crouch – 32 possessions and two goals to continue his breakout year.

1: Jack Ziebell – Was North’s best and tried hard all match. 24 possessions, nine tackles and a goal.

Collingwood Magpies 85 defeated Fremantle Dockers 37

3: Adam Treloar – Made seven tackles, and did well to gather 33 touches. Although his disposal was sloppy on a number of occasions, Treloar was the most influential player in this match.

2: Scott Pendlebury – Had 26 touches, and was very clean with the ball in tricky conditions.

1: Brayden Maynard – 22 touches, 12 marks and six tackles, he had a strong game in the wet.

3: Dustin Martin – With 35 disposals, six clearances, ten inside 50s and a pair of goal assists, it was yet another strong showing from Martin.

2: Jack Riewoldt – Riewoldt played arguably his best game of the year to date, kicking four goals and providing two goal assists, taking ten marks for the day – nine of them inside forward 50.

1: Connor Menadue – A breakout game for the second-year Tiger, finishing with 19 disposals and a pair of goals.

3: Dylan Shiel – Superb from start to finish, racking up a game-high 34 disposals to go with nine clearances, five inside 50s and two goals.

2: Callan Ward – The GWS skipper continues to lead from the front, collecting 33 touches, 12 clearances and five inside 50s.

1: Steve Johnson – Back to his dangerous best after a week off, with a four-goal haul accompanied by 22 disposals and six marks.

3: Nick Riewoldt – The skipper stood up and was prominent in the final term when the game was there to be won. Saint Nick took ten marks, had six inside 50s, five score involvements, 18 kicks, and eight handballs. Most importantly he had a tremendous impact on the game, allowing the Saints to power home.

2: Seb Ross – Ross was a ball machine, the leading possession winner on the ground. Ross came off with 16 kicks, 17 handballs, seven score involvements, five clearances, and five inside 50s in a damaging display against the Cats’ premier midfield.

1: Mav Weller – Weller made the difference in the end, with 19 disposals going at 89 per cent efficiency, and slotted two all important goals.

3: Sam Mitchell – 35 touches, eight clearances and five tackles. Always did the right thing, never panicked, and ran all day.

2: Gary Ablett – 40 touches (25 contested), 15 clearances, four inside 50s and four rebound 50s. Worked harder than anyone and used the ball well.

1: Luke Hodge – 28 touches, six rebound 50s, four inside 50s and nine marks. Wonderful return game, gaining plenty of ground with his touches and showing his trademark presence.

Leaderboard

Dustin Martin has jumped back into the equal lead with Patrick Dangerfield thanks to three votes on Saturday, and has the chance to power ahead of Dangerfield and also Joel Selwood given the Cats have the bye next week.

Nick Riewoldt and Rory Sloane jumped into equal fourth with best-on-field performances in both of their games.
