The biggest grand slam on the Tennis calendar is upon us with the world’s elite arriving at the All England Club in London for the championships at Wimbledon. Here’s your guide for finding a Wimbledon live stream or watch it on TV.

The Seven Network will run through the Seven Tennis app, which is free to download from the Google Play or Apple store on your device, however only their exclusive games are likely to be available.

As always, Foxtel’s main channel and their exclusive games will be available through the Foxtel Go or Foxtel Play applications, which both need a valid subscription to the sports pack.

The Fox Sports app will also offer six live matches along with access to ‘Live @ Wimbledon’ for analysis.

How to watch

Luckily for Australian viewers, there are going to be a mountain of hours coverage on TV, with Free-To-Air TV and Foxtel both having options.

The Seven Network will carry live coverage of all the key matches throughout their network of channels. They will generally carry a focus of Australian players where possible, and thereafter showing the highest seeds.

Fox Sports meanwhile have announced extensive round-the-clock coverage and over 600 hours of live Tennis. Through their ‘red button viewers choice’ option there will be up to seven live matches at any one time across the first week of the tournament.

The Pay-TV provider will also have access to ‘Wimbledon Extra’, giving all the news and views courtside from the All England Club.

Tournament structure and key players

Pending on weather, players will have matches every second day, with seven rounds (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, quarter-final, semi-final and final) to be played.

From the second Tuesday though, the draw splits into women’s and men’s. The Women play Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday through the final three rounds, while the men play Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

On the men’s side of the draw, Novak Djokovic will be the no. 1 seed and aiming to take out his fifth grand slam in a row, while Serena Williams will be the no. 1 seed on the women’s side, still attempting to win her first of the year.

The Australian charge will be led by Nick Kyrgios, Bernard Tomic and Samantha Stosur.
