The 2016 State of Origin series wraps up this week with the Queensland Maroons travelling to face the New South Wales Blues in the hopes of causing a series whitewash. If you’re looking to live stream the match or watch it on TV, you’ve come to the right place – this is your ultimate guide to finding a live stream of Game 3.
The Nine Network has the exclusive rights for broadcasting State of Origin, and because of that, you won’t be able to find a live stream via Foxtel, and you will not be able to view the match live on Fox Sports.
The only legitimate way to live stream the match will be using the NRL Digital Pass. This allows you to live stream every game of the NRL season – as well as representative matches like State of Origin – to your PC, phone or tablet.
You have two payment options to choose from regarding the NRL Digital Pass – the choices are to either pay $2.99 per week, or purchase a year-long subscription for $89.99.
There is, however, a one-week free trial available for new users, so if you have not used the service previously you can sneak in this final game of the State of Origin series through that method.
If you’re wanting to watch the game on TV, as previously mentioned it is exclusive to the Nine Network. It will be shown live on Channel 9 and also on 9HD, with coverage to begin at 7:30pm (AEST), and finishing at 10:30pm (AEST).
If you’re keen to catch a replay after the match, Fox Sports 1 will have it starting from 10pm AEST on Wednesday night, and will then regularly replay the match throughout the days to come.
And of course, The Roar will be running a live blog of the match right here – so make sure you join us for live scores and updates from the match, along with debate and banter throughout.
