It took less than five minutes for the opening try of Game 3 of the 2016 State of Origin series, with Greg Inglis crossing in the corner following some textbook passing from Queensland.

It was a shaky start to the match for the Blues, who turned the ball over twice in the opening minutes after some confident ball movement from the Maroons.

The second of those turnovers left the Maroons well inside their attacking territory; the resulting play saw the visitors create some space out wide, and able to find a dashing Inglis who crossed to secure an early 4-0 lead.

The try, Inglis’ 18th at Origin level, extends his lead at the top of the table for all time Origin try scorers.
