Robbie has the world at his feet. A wedding singer by night, he also plays rugby league for the Wests Tigers. But his world is thrown upside down when Jason Taylor leaves him at the altar. Devastated, Robbie returns to the stage but is it too soon?

Oh yes, indeed, love stinks.

Welcome to The Roar‘s NRL Expert tips – or is it The Wedding Singer?

And in breaking news exclusive to The Roar, we can reveal that Robbie Farah was actually mic’d up for his half-time address in the sheds at Leichhardt oval last Saturday.

“You love her, but she loves him,” Farah began.

“And he loves somebody else, you just can’t win, and so it goes until the day you die, this thing they call love, It’s going to make you cry!

“Love stinks!”

Come on Robbie, bring it home!

“Love stinks, yeah, yeah!”

Mary Konstantopoulos
Tips:
Roosters, Bulldogs, Panthers, Wests Tigers, Storm, Raiders (Powerplay), Sea Eagles, Sharks.

“The Broncos are in such a deep hole, that Wayne Bennett brought along a ‘mystery man’ to training to help the team with their defence. This game could seriously go either way, but the Roosters have looked close in the last two weeks. I am predicting it is their turn to get the chocolates and the Broncos will move to having lost seven of their last nine.

“Injuries. Suspensions. Walk outs. Loss of points. This is but a sampling of what the Eels have had to deal with in 2016. With two consecutive losses it looks like all this has caught up with them. I expect a brave showing against a Tigers team in very good form at the moment, despite the loss of Robbie Farah.

“I believe in fairy tales and this weekend will see the Sharks continue theirs with a record breaking 16 wins in a row. Sorry Titans.”

Tips:
Roosters, Bulldogs, Warriors, Wests Tigers, Storm, Raiders, Sea Eagles (Powerplay), Sharks.

“I reckon the Broncs are in a complete freaking hole. I don’t think the Roosters are that bad. Roosters to win at home.

“Match of the round between Storm and Cowboys. I reckon Thurston will be out and the Storm will jag the win.

“Canberra to beat the Bunnies but only because I hope they do.”

Lachlan Bickley
Tips:
Roosters, Bulldogs, Warriors, Wests Tigers, Cowboys, Raiders, Sea Eagles (Powerplay), Sharks.

“St George Illawarra are really struggling and it doesn’t get any easier against a Canterbury outfit that was embarrassed last weekend against the Cowboys.

“Has the bubble burst for Parramatta? You bet it has so expect Wests Tigers to improve on their last start performance.

“Canberra are away from home against Souths but it shouldn’t make much difference with the Raiders to get the win.”

“I have little confidence in Brisbane on Thursday night against the Sydney Roosters but if they’re going to be a threat in September they need to break the shackles and start improving.

“Penrith were so good against the Broncos last week but the Warriors were also gallant against Canberra, eventually going down in golden point.

“North Queensland are missing Johnathan Thurston but they’ve got plenty of other guns that can get them home against the Melbourne Storm.”
