Highlights: Manly go four in a row with win over Knights

Manly have won their fourth match in a row, after a strong start to Old Boys Day. Tom Trbojevic was firing early on, sending Jorge Taufua over after just four minutes.

The Manly junior grabbed another try assist after breaking the line to send Brayden Wiliame over in the corner.

Momentum continued to flow the way of the Sea Eagles with Cherry-Evans sending Jamie Buhrer through the gap to score and extend their lead to 14 points.

Jeremy Smith looked to score in the 30th minute from a Danny Levi grubber only to be denied after knocking on in the grounding.

The grubber went right for Brayden Wiliame who scored his second try with some brilliant handling.

The Sea Eagles grabbed another try before the break with Josh Starling scoring after Tom Trbojevic made a line break.

Manly went into the break in front by 26 points and soon extend their lead with Dylan Walker scoring out of dummy half after 44 minutes.

Matthew Wright continued the charge for Manly after Jamie Buhrer helped him over in the corner.

Jorge Taufua was denied an opportunity to extend the Sea Eagles’ lead to 42 points after a double movement with Newcastle finally going over through Peter Mata’utia after a Trent Hodkinson grubber.

The momentum shifted the way of the Knights with Jake Mamo going close to scoring after 73 minutes before David Bhana went over under the sticks in the 76th minute.

The Novocastrians finished the game on a high with Brendan Elliot scoring on the flank to close the gap to 20 points and end up winning the second half.
