Ahoy Roarers! We went close in both quaddies last week at Randwick but as always, the bolters were out in force.

I’ll be previewing the quaddies at Rosehill this Saturday, starting off with the early quaddie, with the legs being races two through to five:

Rosehill Early Quaddie

Leg One – Colin McAlpine AM Tribute TAB Highway Handicap (Class 2) 1100m:

Looks to be really good speed, mainly from Frisky Terror and Vixen Lass. I’ve been impressed by Taree filly Beside You and I think she can definitely measure up despite the wide gate, keeping in mind she was also nominated for the San Domenico.

Suggestion: 4-5-6-7-8-12

Leg Two – Dooleys Handicap (78) 2000m:

Loud Debate looks the sole leader here, and at a price he could give some cheek. There are a host of chances, as seen in my numbers. If you were looking for something each way, definitely have it on Thunder Down Under. He seems crazy overs at around $21.

Suggestion: 1-2-7-9-10

Leg Three – St Johns Park Bowling Club Handicap (72) 1500m:

Got Unders was ridden aggressively to lead last start at Canterbury and ran third, so I think similar tactics will be adopted here. Royal Jackpot was a bit luckless first up at Canterbury and he comes to a race where he has won at the track/distance from last prep. Big watch on Game Pie.

Suggestion: 1-3-6-9-11

Leg Four – Smithfield RSL Club San Domenico Stakes 1100m:

Tango Rain has shown gate speed in both career starts and I think he’ll lead these comfortably. Just sets up perfectly for the Slipper winner Capitalist. As I said last week, his trials leading in have been outstanding and with normal luck, he’ll beat them here.

Suggestion: 1

Rosehill Quaddie

Leg One – Merrylands RSL Club Premiers Cup Prelude 1800m:

No designated leader, so perhaps the in form Marenostro from a good draw can take up a forward spot. My bet will be Sacred Master, who was excellent against the tempo first up in the Winter Challenge, a race won by Marenostro.

Suggestion: 1-2-4-5-6

Leg Two – Canterbury Hurlstone Park RSL Club Spring Preview Handicap 1400m:

Oxford Poet has looked the sole leader at his past couple and that looks the case again, though Cosmic Cube can also roll forward. That pair are leading chances. Really interested to see how Magic Hurricane returns.

Suggestion: 1-2-4-5-6

Leg Three – Handicap (92) 1100m:

Looks to be good speed here, which I think will suit the good thing of the weekend IMO in the shape of His Majesty. With normal luck, he should have been unbeaten in the Autumn. Trial leading in was outstanding and he’ll take a power of beating with a clear crack.

Suggestion: 8

Leg Four – Mounties Group Handicap (78) 1350m:

Nite Rocker is a speed demon and should have no trouble holding the lead, but may cop pressure from impressive last start winner Conarchie. My bet will be first emergency Dinghu Mountain, but big watch on Godolphin import Salthouse.

Suggestion: 5-6-7-8-14
