The Penrith Panthers will do battle with the Canterbury Bulldogs on Sunday Afternoon in the first week of the NRL Finals, with kick-off scheduled for 4:10pm (AEST).

If you are searching for a way to watch the match either on TV or online via a live stream then you have come to the right place – this is your ultimate guide to being able to watch the game.

How to live stream online

If you are wanting a live stream of the match on your device, then there are two legitimate options, which are through the NRL or Foxtel who for the first time have rights to every finals match.

If you decide to use Foxtel you’ll be using either the Foxtel Play or Foxtel Go apps, which give users the ability to stream Foxtel channels depending on current Foxtel service.

Foxtel Go comes with either an existing or new Foxtel service and can be logged into any two devices to stream whichever channels you would be able to view off your TV.

Foxtel Play is the better choice for those who only want to access live-streaming services, rather than have a traditional installation.

Foxtel Play (or standard Foxtel) begins at a minimum of $25 per month, but goes up to at least $50 per month if including the ‘Sports’ package which will be necessary to view the NRL Finals. A two-week free trial is, however available for new customers.

These apps can stream to a variety of devices, including Android and iOS mobile devices, but not to PC or Mac computers.

The other option is through the official NRL Digital Pass which allows you to stream every match off any device you may own including PC or Mac computers.

The app not only gives you access to stream every match, but also to other premium features provided by the NRL.

While the app does come with a one-week free trial, it will cost either $2.99 per week or $89.99 for the annual pass after that.

Don’t forget The Roar will carry live coverage of every NRL Finals match.

How to watch on TV

If you want to watch the match from your TV, then there will also be two options with Fox Sports having joint rights to the NRL finals with the Nine Network for the first time ever.
