When is UFC 203 Miocic vs Overeem? - Date, time, full card

Stipe Miocic will fight Alistair Overeem at UFC 203, with the main card fights scheduled to begin at 12 noon (AEST), on Sunday 11 September (AEST).

The Miocic vs Overeem fight will likely being around 1:45pm (AEST), though this may very significantly depending on the results of the earlier fights.

The preliminary card for the event has TV coverage beginning from 9am (AEST) on Fox Sports 2.

Stipe is defending his heavyweight title when he takes on Overeem in Cleveland, it will be the first time he has attempted to defend the title since winning it from Fabricio Werdum.

Miocic and Overeem both had confident statements to make ahead of the match.

“I’m going to stop Overeem in the first round. I’m going to drop him. I know I can knock him out and he’s going to get knocked out. It’s going to happen. It’s inevitable once I touch him with my hands. He’s going to go to sleep,” said Miocic.

Overeem was no less bullish about his prospects.

“It’s going to be the crown in my career. It’s going to be history. Yeah, most decorated heavyweight of all time.”

Werdum is also on the main card, looking to bounce back from that loss when he fights Travis Browne.

“We believe, as a team, that Fabricio is ready for the title shot, right after this fight. He’s got to pass Travis, but as soon as he passes Travis, we’re going to look for the belt again,” said Werdum’s coach ahead of the fight.
