We’ve seen ambidextrous spin bowlers become YouTube famous before, but pace bowlers that can bowl with both arms are a rare breed.

Even rarer, a pace bowler, that by all reports can nudge 140 clicks an hour with both arms.

Pakistan fans are getting excited over the potential of Yasir Jan who sent the country’s media into a spin when he changed things up during the Lahore Qalandars’ talent hunting session in Rawalpindi.

The teenager can bowl slightly faster when he delivers with his right arm, but can generate steepling bounce when unleashes with his left. It’s already led to the media comparing Jan to Brett Lee/Shoaib Akhtar and Wasim Akram all rolled into one.

Jan is currently trying to force his way into the Pakistan Super League but even if he doesn’t make the cut he could be one player that receives the option to travel to Australia and train with Big Bash franchise the Sydney Thunder.

Pakistan will be hoping Yasir Jan’s talent can be developed. If it does he will be huge asset and a nightmare for batsmen.
