When is Melbourne Storm vs Canberra Raiders NRL preliminary final? Kick-off time, date, TV guide, teams

The second NRL preliminary final will pit minor premiers the Melbourne Storm against the Canberra Raiders, the match being played in Melbourne at AAMI Park on Saturday, September 24 with kick-off scheduled for 7:40pm (AEST).

As with all the NRL Finals matches, it will be shown on both pay TV through Fox Sports on Foxtel channel 501, and the Nine Network on free-to-air TV.

Fox Sports’ coverage of the match will begin at 7pm and then run through with their Saturday Night on Fox which is scheduled to finish at 10:15pm while Channel Nine will also begin their coverage at 7pm, running up until 10pm.

Note that there is no Holden Cup match on Saturday, meaning Fox Sports are not likely to begin their coverage either before or after the scheduled time.

The teams for the second NRL preliminary final were named on Tuesday evening.

The Storm come into this match having had a week off after defeating the North Queensland Cowboys in week one of the finals, while the Raiders defeated the Penrith Panthers last weekend.

The winner will go onto the grand-final and take on the winner of the earlier preliminary final between the Cronulla Sharks and North Queensland Cowboys.
