How to watch on TV

Unlike the rest of the finals series, Fox Sports will lose the rights to the biggest club match of the year, with the Nine Network holding exclusive rights, meaning there is no pay-TV option to watch it live.

The Nine Network will be live from Homebush for most of the day, however coverage of the grand final will commence following Nine News, which ends at 6:30pm (AEDT), allowing for 45 minutes of pre-game entertainment and build up.

Nine’s grand final day coverage begins at 11:00am with the Sunday Footy Show.

This will be followed by live coverage of the Holden Cup grand final between the Penrith Panthers and Sydney Roosters from 1pm, and the State Challenge between the Illawarra Cutters and Burleigh Bears from 3:30pm.

A replay of the match will be available on Fox Sports channel 501 from 9:30pm.

As always, check local guides to confirm times in your region.

How to stream online

For those wanting to stream the match online, there will be only one option with Foxtel not having the live rights to the grand final

This is the NRL Digital Pass app, which costs $2.99 per week, or $89.99 annually.

If you have never used the NRL Digital Pass before, then there is a one-week free trial option available.

The replay of the match, being broadcast by Fox Sports afterwards can be streamed with Foxtel Play or Foxtel Go, allowing you to watch the match on any device that you own.

All times are in AEDT unless otherwise stated
