We’re in Week 8 now, and for punters there’s been more than enough form run under the bridge to make an educated betting tip… right?

Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans
The Jaguars were lacklustre in their Week 7 loss to Oakland, while the Titans will look to rebound after a disappointing loss to the Colts. DeMarco Murray has returned to his 2014 form and been a revelation for the Titans this season, having scored a touchdown in all but two games.

Line bet – Titans at the line -3.5
Best bet – Titans win at $1.54
Feeling lucky – DeMarco Murray to score first touchdown at $7.00

Washington Redskins at Cincinnati Bengals
The NFL returns to London for the second consecutive week and the third time this season as the Cincinnati Bengals ‘host’ the Washington Redskins. Bengals wide receiver AJ Green has tallied more than 165 receiving yards and a touchdown in each of their wins this season and his matchup with Redskins star Josh Gordon will be worth the price of admission for the British fans.

Line bet – Bengals at the line -3.0
Best bet – Bengals win at $1.63
Feeling lucky – Bengals to win by 1-6 points at $3.60

Kansas City Chiefs at Indianapolis Colts
The Kansas City Chiefs are building into form nicely, moving to 4-2 in the strongest division in the NFL. They come against star quarterback Andrew Luck, fresh off an impressive game on the road as Indianapolis defeated Tennessee 34-26. The Colts have won 12 of their last 15 games against the Chiefs.

Line bet – Chiefs at the line -2.5
Best bet – Total game score over 50.0 points at $1.96
Feeling lucky – Chiefs to win by 6-10 points at $4.50

Oakland Raiders at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Oakland Raiders sit atop the AFC West at 5-2 on the back of a 4-0 road record. All four of those wins have been against sides with losing records, and that trend continues as they travel to Florida to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Buccs wide receiver Mike Evans has scored a touchdown in five of six games this season, and the last five games in the season series have resulted in the game total going over the market line.

Line bet – Raiders at the line +1.0
Best bet – Either side to win by less than 8 points at $1.45
Feeling lucky – Raiders to win by 1-6 points at $3.75

Seattle Seahawks at New Orleans Saints
The Seahawks fought out a mind-numbing 6-6 draw against the Cardinals on Monday Night Football, while a two-game winning streak by the Saints came to an end at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs. The Seahawks have won six of their last eight encounters with the Saints, and every game in New Orleans this season has resulted in the game total ending up being over the market line.

Line bet – Seahawks at the line -2.5
Best bet – Total game score over 48.0 points $1.92
Feeling lucky – Seahawks to win by 1-6 points at $3.60

Detroit Lions at Houston Texans
The Detroit Lions have won three straight and find themselves in the chase for a playoff berth. The Texans feast on poor teams and get smashed when they face any opposition of quality, making this a tough game to pick as the Lions fall into neither category. Each of Detroit’s last four outings have been decided by a margin of three points or less.

Line bet – Texans at the line -2.5
Best bet – Texans to score over 23.5 points $1.83
Feeling lucky – Texans to win by 6-10 points at $4.50

New York Jets at Cleveland Browns
The Cleveland Browns are making history for all the wrong reasons and appear to be hurtling towards a winless season. Their best chance at avoiding that embarrassment will come this weekend against a mediocre Jets team who have to turn to much-maligned quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick just a fortnight after benching him for his woeful play. The favourites have won the last five games in the season series – that helps no-one in a game that is virtually a coin-flip.

Line bet – Browns at the line +2.5
Best bet – Either team to win by 8 or less points at 1.64
Feeling lucky – Browns to win by 1-13 points at 2.85

Green Bay Packers at Atlanta Falcons
Two offensive heavyweights face-off in Atlanta when the Falcons host the Green Bay Packers at the Georgia Dome. Matt Ryan has been arguably the best quarterback in the league and will threaten a suspect Green Bay defence, while Aaron Rodgers took a step towards returning to form in throwing 56 passes in the win against Chicago last weekend.

Line bet – Packers at the line +2.5
Best bet – Total match score over 52.5 points at $1.92
Feeling lucky – Packers to win by 1-6 points at $3.75

New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills
The New England Patriots head into Buffalo seeking revenge for an embarrassing 16-0 loss in Week 4. Tom Brady has returned as if he was never away, and a weak Buffalo rushing defence will be under threat from LeGarrette Blount and James White. On the other side of the ball, the likely loss of LeSean McCoy to injury does not bode well for the Bills.

Line bet – Patriots at the line -6.5
Best bet – Patriots win at $1.37
Feeling lucky – Patriots to win by 14+ points at $3.16

San Diego Chargers at Denver Broncos
Both sides are coming off impressive wins as San Diego stunned Atlanta with a 33-30 overtime win while the Broncos snapped a two-game skid with a dominant win over the Texans. The Broncos are well known for their dominant defence, while the Chargers have a blossoming pass rush and will put Trevor Siemian under pressure when he chooses to throw the ball.

Line bet – Chargers at the line +4.5
Best bet – Total game score over 43.5 points at $1.92
Feeling lucky – Chargers to win by 1-6 points at $4.50

Arizona Cardinals at Carolina Panthers
These two sides played each other in the NFC Championship game last season but the Cardinals and Panthers find their seasons on life support heading into Week 8. At 2-5, the Panthers cannot afford another home loss but will struggle to stop the irrepressible David Johnson. The second-year running back has tallied more than 100 yards from scrimmage in every game this season. The home side has covered the spread in the last five games in this series.

Line bet – Cardinals at the line +3.0
Best bet – Cardinals to score over 23.5 points at $1.88
Feeling lucky – Cardinals to win by more than 3 points at $2.80

Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys
The top spot in the NFC East is up for grabs when the Eagles head into Dallas to take on the Cowboys. Dallas will likely welcome back Dez Bryant and they will hope this doesn’t ruin the rhythm they have established behind rookies Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott, who leads the league in rushing yards per game. The Eagles registered six sacks and forced four quarterback fumbles last weekend and if they repeat that effort could go atop the division – in a good omen, the road team has won each of the last six meetings between the teams.

Line bet – Eagles at the line +4.5
Best bet – Either team to win by less than 8 points at $1.67
Feeling lucky – Cowboys to win by 1-6 points at $3.75

Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears
The Vikings became the last team to lose this season as they were dominated by the Eagles last weekend. The Bears lost to Green Bay in a strange Thursday Night Football game and will look to halt a three-game losing streak. The Bears rank last in points scored and the Vikings lead the league in least yards conceded and points conceded (just 14.0 points a game). It won’t be pretty, but look for the Vikings to rebound strongly.

Line bet – Vikings at the line -5.5
Best bet – Vikings win at $1.40
Feeling lucky – Vikings to win by 6-10 points at $4.50
