Conor McGregor will go up against Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205, hoping to claim the lightweight championship. Main card fights at the event are expected to begin from 2pm AEDT on Sunday 13 November.
Alvarez versus McGregor, being the last fight of the day, is expected to begin roughly at 4pm AEDT. However, this could vary depending on the length of the five main card fights before it.
McGregor is hoping to become the first man in UFC history to hold two belts at the same time, as he currently also holds the featherweight championship.

There will be two other title bouts on the main card however, in what looms as one of the biggest events in UFC history, if not the biggest.
Stephen Thompson will go up against Tyron Woodley for the welterweight championship, while Karolina Kowalkiewicz will be up against Joanna Jedrzejczyk in a battle for the strawweight championship (and of alliterative names).
The event will be held in New York City’s Madison Square Garden as the UFC celebrates the legalisation of mixed martial arts as a sport within the state of New York.
The sport had previously been banned for two decades.
The prelim card fights will begin from approximately 11am, with the early prelim fights before them. The former will be televised on Fox Sports 1.
