The A-League is back for its 13th season, and defending premiers Sydney FC are favourites to go back-to-back. This is The Roar‘s ultimate guide to streaming the season online and watching it on TV.

Australia’s premier football competition, featuring ten teams and 27 rounds will kick-off on Friday, October 6 at 7:50pm (AEDT) with Melbourne City hosting the Brisbane Roar.

The season will then run all the way through April, with the grand final set for Sunday, May 6, 2018.

How to watch the season on TV

Every game of the season, as it has been since the first season of the A-League will be broadcast on Fox Sports. To watch their coverage, you must have a valid Foxtel TV subscription.

The A-League has ten teams, so there are five matches per round. Most rounds are structured so that there will be one match on Friday night, and two on both Saturday and Sunday.

Network Ten have also come on board this season. They will be showing one game per round at 7:50pm (AEDT) on Saturday night. Every team will be involved in the fixture throughout the season. Their coverage can be found on Station No.10, or 110 if you’re watching through Foxtel.

If you already have a TV subscription, then the Foxtel app will be better for you to use. It’s free to download and use as it’s included in all TV packages.

Both applications are available on any device you may own including phone, tablet and desktop or laptop.
