In their fourth and final game of their European tour and calendar year, the Wallabies take on Scotland at Murrayfield in Edinburgh, with the kickoff at 1:30am (AEDT).

Last week’s result certainly tested the patience of the dedicated few who got up to watch the Wallabies play England in the early hours of Sunday morning, however, it’s time to do it again, as the Australia’s look to take revenge after an embarrassing defeat to the Scots in June.

It’s been a trying year for the Wallabies and their fans, but a series of strong performances finally generated some momentum into the Australian camp.

It seemed cruel that the end scoreline at Twickenham did not indicate the competitiveness of the match, and had it not been for a couple of 50/50 calls by the referee, a victory was well within the reach of the men in gold.

Australia has a strong record against Scotland, having played 31 Tests against each other since 1927. Of course, Scotland won the most recent clash in June at Allianz Stadium, but the Wallabies have a clear advantage overall with 21 victories to Scotland’s ten.

If they can record a victory in their final Test of the year, the Aussies can hold their heads high, a be confident of a strong run to the 2019 World Cup.

Match info:
