North Melbourne KangaroosThe North Melbourne Kangaroos were one of three clubs admitted to the AFL in 1925. The Kangaroos have won four AFL flags, with success coming in 1975 and 1977, then again in 1996 and 1999. The club currently play a handful of games in the Tasmanian capital Hobart.

Following a raft of player departures in the offseason, North Melbourne were expected to fall down the ladder in 2017 and that’s exactly what happened. The Kangaroos lost a large number of games by very close margins, but managed to avoid the wooden spoon with a final-round win over Brisbane.
