Andrew Logan

After starting rugby as an eight year old boy in New Zealand, Andrew Logan has played over 250 games in NSW country, suburban and grade competitions and toured to Hong Kong, Dubai, Bangkok and Japan. Coming to terms with his modest talents, he realised that the only way he’d ever get to play with the good players was to start the teams and invite them to play, an insight which led to a number of invitation sides like the Wallabok Lions, the Nicky Barr Tomahawks and the Silver Foxes which featured Wallabies and provincial players alongside club journeymen and exciting youngsters.
Andrew writes for Inside Rugby magazine, contributes to Super 14 and Test match programs in both Australia and New Zealand and writes freelance sporting articles for other publications. When he isn’t hanging around rugby types, he surfs and plays guitar.
