You know once upon a time i would be angry at this. But one day ranting about this to my mum for some reason my mum replied "Adam everyone gets crap written about you in the papers" she is right. Here is SA one-paper state apart from regional rags writers with biases towards port or crows write utter rubbish about the teams that stick the boot in just like you got peter goers writing the biggest load of tripe about Adelaide United and how they are a disgrace blah blah blah (I actually respected his writing up till that point). That's just a microcosm of the rest of Australia you'll get those who love hate and are indifferent towards football that is life. We don't need to get angry because really especially in print media they are preaching to the converted and reinforcing people's ignorance and bigotry because alot of newspapers and writers are preaching to a different generation that the A-league is targeting one that rarely reads the newspaper because well its called the internet. Of course we want everyone to share in our joy and passion and the gamut of emotion you feel in 90 minutes. But some you just wont and never will and to be honest we are after those who are indifferent to the game, hopefully the bug bites just like it did that sunny day at hindmarsh a few years ago in the process of getting sunburnt to all buggery. For the record i'm an fan of the AFL and support Port Adelaide. Cheers Adam
