I think the advert is great, but not matter how much promotion the A league and FFA try get out there, the A league does not have the major newspaers and commerical tv networks in their back pocket giving free promotion to the up coming season like the NRL and especially the AFL, Both these sports would have 10-15 pages a day in the papers leading up to the final week to the start of the season, while the A league get a two page preview in the Herald Sun even though there are two new teams and lots of really good signings, thats all the A league season preview was worth in the Herald Sun's eyes. I am of the opinion this season's A league will prove to be the highest standard of football we have seen yet in the A league, with new derbies and high profile signings the league really looks exciting this year, this will all help the league attract good attendances.
Where’s the promotion for the new A-League season?

Scotland vs England in football is number 1 even though it is rare for them to play each other these days. Celtic Vs Rangers in football is number 1 for a continued rivarly. I have never seen or heard anything like an old firm derby. England vs Australia cricket for tradition is on my list Australia vs New Zealand Rugby Argentina vs Brazil Football State of Orgin League is the biggest in Australia currently None of the AFL rivalries rate as intense enough big crowds no doubt, but dull atmospheres

I not too fussed if the crowd average is around the 12k mark, that's still pretty healthy for a young league. It certainly isn't make or break this season, year 1 was the year for make or break, To be honest what the league needs to strive for is a continuly improving product, this season will prove to be the best standard of football seen in the A league and it is that which will bigger crowds in the long run. It may even bring in the many football lovers who are Euro football devotees but see the A league as beneath them and mock the game they love instead of supporting their local teams. With the likes of Culina, Sterjovski, Burns, Coyne, fowler, IFill, Suhka, Williams, Owusu,Smelz, Hernandez, Miller, Vinaroli, Kisel and the many exciting youngsters like Tahj Minniecon, Mitch Nichols, Michael Zullo, Kofi Danning, Scott Jamieson and the many other players who come from nowhere, this league season will surely have a much higher technical standard than the previous 4 seasons. Hopefully we have the pitches to match.
It’s a make or break season for the A-League
