To replace Haddin I’d be looking at two people depending on what mould of keeper we want. If we want a batsman who can keep then we should pick Wade, and if we want a keeper who can bat we should pick Ludeman, who is the best actual keeper in Australia.

Burns, Nevill and Hazlewood should play first Test

Inverarity claimed Marsh was highly-skilled against fast bowling and had a game “well suited to facing South Africa in South Africa”.
How can Inverarity think that, Marsh averages 22 in South Africa.

How did Marsh get picked over White?

Personally I don’t think we need a world cup.

ICC Test divisions being considered

Liam Davis averages 31 and is nearly 30, no way.

Top Four: SIlk, Maddinson, Hughes, Lynn

They would bring in Faulkner if Lyon got injured.

Should Bollinger get another crack at Test cricket?

It should be 20:1, a century is equal to a five wicket haul.

History of cricket all-rounders (part one)

Panesar strained his calf

England to blood three debutants in fifth Test

One of the 16 other people with more runs in the shield maybe one of Hughes, Maddinson, Silk.

Doolan and Coulter-Nile must play at Sydney

We should have used the one dayers for blooding new players

Australian ODI squad announced: Warner back in, with Pattinson, Clarke and Marsh

Yes, pick the same team they’ve urned it.
Sorry I just had to.

Doolan and Coulter-Nile must play at Sydney

No he is 17th on the run scoring list this season, behind good young players like Maddinson,Silk,Hughes, Head and Carters.

Doolan and Coulter-Nile must play at Sydney

Oh yeah forgot he came back, Bird instead of Coulter-Nile.
But Coulter-Nile has a better strike rate, batting average and is a better fielder than Hazelwood, I included Faulkner and Maddinson and the point is trying out young players for the future so North isn’t in because he’s like 35.

Doolan and Coulter-Nile must play at Sydney

We should use the one dayers for blooding new players, the test team deserve their chance to play for a whitewash.
My team for the one dayers:
Warner (for the crowd)
Hughes
Doolan
Maddinson
Bailey (too good at one dayers to leave out)
Burns
Wade
Faulkner
Pattinson
Johnson (for the crowd)
Starc (if fit)/ Cutting
Coulter-Nile

This gives pretty much the whole test team a break, instead of wasting them meaningless one dayers.

Doolan and Coulter-Nile must play at Sydney

You’ve fallen for the gambler’s fallacy JGK. It’s like roulette, when people judge what’s going to happen by the previous spins. If it has landed on red five times in a row doesn’t make any difference to the next spin.

ASHES: Talking points as Australia take a 4-0 Ashes lead

Well he has to get out first to have an average.

Why Australia leads four-zip in the Ashes

Simoc
Mcgrath is much better than Morkel

Is Craig McDermott on the money about our bowling attack?

Is bollinger going to stay as 13th man for the aussies? Will he be available for big bash?

It's time we all forgot about Phil Hughes

Well Ronan who would be your new top order batsmen?

It's time we all forgot about Phil Hughes

Rogers can’t keep playing forever Ronan, he is already 36.

It's time we all forgot about Phil Hughes

Well who’s your option Ronan? Australia picks players on shield form and Hughes has the best shield form.

It's time we all forgot about Phil Hughes

He has faced 5 innings against each of Sri Lanka and India in the number three spot.

It's time we all forgot about Phil Hughes

Well it could still be 1/3 while he is opening.
