Hello, Good Afternoon and Welcome to The Roar’s live coverage of the 2017 Women’s Ashes Test. Honours are currently spilt between the two teams after the first two days of the test. Scott, you make an excellent argument in how the roosters wouldn’t improve. The point in regards to coaching in last years finals series was spot on.
However, where I disagree with you is that Cronk will provide the kicking game that Mitchell Pearce and Luke Keary lack. He will can form a formidable partnership with one of the best fullbacks in the game James Tedesco. Further, he will be able to settle the nerves of those inexperienced players.
I think if Pearce does leave like the rumours are saying then he will defintly an upgrade.

This tour should be a development tour for the nation’s younger players. Younger players at this level need to be developed against different styles of play like England, Ireland and France. However, when Cheika selected Stephen Moore a retiring veteran he has totally disregarded this. A younger player would of taken in the experience and grown now that opportunity was given to a retiring player.

Patrick I fully understand that. However, in Australia we don’t have that issue. Football is the second biggest sport in Australia amongst children participation so we do have the crop of juniors to pick from to create future stars.
How to fix Australian football's issues
Fadida in regards to Ange he isn’t a first class manager. Let’s look at the facts we couldn’t beat Japan when the World Cup came down to it. We struggled to beat Thailand and Syria. He is not developing the players at a national level. His tactics are to rely on Tim Cahill. I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news but Tim Cahill is not going to be around forever, other than him who are our striking options.
I stated in my article that we don’t have world class players anymore due to our transfers.

Finals series illustrate the gulf between AFL and NRL
Mickyo the NRL needed to hand out the free tickets as no one was going to attend the games. The NRL dropped their prices in order to get more people through the door.
Game Participation is a massive issue with the NRL coupled with their crowds Todd Greenberg has a lot to do to turn this around.
