Watson scored a blazing ton in tour match and every one said that he will be the difference,
on the other hand Maddinson struck 181 but get no attention from NSP for ashes.
Phil hauges faild in 6 consective test matches even no body is pointing finger at him but after 4 poor inning Khawaja was dropped.
Marsh done nothing in Aus played 6 innings and scored just 17 runs but he is always there in good book of selector.
in 5th odi Maxwell was overlooked for phil i failed to understand why?

Why NSP is hasitant in selecting QLD players. Couple of them are much better than those who lost in England mean Phill,and to me Chris Roger because he is short term selection.he ias volunerable against Swaan is well.Surprise the poms by selecting Nick Maddinson.he is an impact player.There is not a single batter in Aus side who can bat in 2nd innings.

Ponting is for superior than any one else in many aspects of the game.most successfull captain of his time brilliant feilder and set a value for one drop batter.You may argue that he has world beaters in his side but at the same time he was an excellent man manger of modern era.Handling such greats is not an easy jobs.

Khawaja has played three consecitive test matches 1st time.
He is good against seemer but need to work on his tech against spin.

Aus should not go with phil because of his technique and he is a left hander/ Gream Swan has a great record against lefties.So aus should go with Baily or burne both are very good against moving ball and spin.

I think its a lot to do with the mental strength and structure of Shield Cricket, In Australia young players are familiar with all sorts playing surfaces before they get a chance to play for national team.
Currently there is no team who can win all condition.Even Aussies struggled in sub-continent and seeming condition of UK.
To become the dream team again original character of the playing strips needs to be restored else Aus will continue to struggle in ASIA
