Tom, I don’t think you understand the huge gap in quality between Japan and other Asian teams. Its light years. Even throwing some Pacific Islanders in the mix would probably only make them as good as 2nd grade Brisbane rugby. What are you going to do, have all 22 players from overseas with zero depth or space for injuries? And no support, Singapore and Japan with much bigger Rigby communities didn’t pack out most games of the sunwolves.
