NSW persisted with Gidley for so long cause he allegegedly could play all 8 positions in league and 5 positions in football in case a game broke out. However he was never Origin quality. Another black mark for Bozo Fulton who should have gone long ago.

Cheery-Evans is a quality number 7 but just looked like a kid amongst men. Not sure if he should ask for the ball. Getting it and not being sure if he should pass or run. He needs to be better game 2 cause there will be no Cronk for Qld or Melbourne for a while.
