I think you listen to the commentators too much. Fantastic game, Waratahs up 14 points in the first 15 mins (not tired). Unfortunately, like all the Oz teams, there is a lack of game management. That is the big difference.
Beale was MOM, Foley played well, but the difference is knowing when and where to kick.
Same with the Reds match.

Genia plays for Stade De France.

The start of the season saw a really bad defensive display. You have to ask what the players do in training. Maybe they are really only young guys who can’t understand what they are being asked to do until they play actual matches.

The defensive lapses have become fewer however the composure of the team has not held. Maybe Cheika doing his thing has create a mentality of us v them. When it should be… fuck everyone else, let’s kick ass or die.

Cheika, until the last few weeks, has talked tough but complained with the best of them.

Foley is looking really good, except the kicking.
Hodge needs to play more of a role here, that is why he has been picked.

Just asking the question and i don’t know the politics but who at Cricket Australia allowed potential West Indian players to be picked in the BBL this summer when they knew the Windies were touring? We shouldn’t be rewarding these clowns.

If i remember correctly the Wallabies were rubbish in the 2003 World Cup except the NZ match and the final, much like SA often scrapes through and keeps chugging along despite the poor coaching. He did get to the final though so you have to give Eddie that.

As for the 58% win record, that doesn’t say much. Australia are consistently 2nd or 3rd ranked in the world. Most likely 3rd during Jones’ tenure as England were dominant for a few years. Being that highly ranked and only winning just over half your matches is pretty poor. If my daughter came home with a Maths result like that i wouldn’t be too pleased!

Problem is the White is the only solid, dependable no.9 we have, the rest have issues.
It is very clear he has cut alot of the kicking out this year… & the Brumbies are on fire.

TPN & AAC injured but good picks (TPN now picks up head knocks in training, his career unfortunately will be be over within 18 months if he doesn’t start tackling with his arms).

Arnold from the Brumbies is ripping it up and i actually saw Ben Alexander play a good match last week (didn’t even drop the pill if memory serves).

So i am not really arguing against your picks, just the inclusion of players with no current form in set positions.
