I think Gift will slot straight back in, he’ll be right I think, and it will be even better for Manly when he does come back in a few weeks.

Manly will win the NRL premiership this season

You should probably put the bong down, champ

Ranking the NRL’s hookers: Part 2

Once Suncorp somehow expands to accommodate 82k people, then we can talk about even proposing to take the GF up there.

Expansion in the NRL: The cons

I would take a win against the Tigers with a grain of salt..

I still have visions of the soft underbelly Souths showed in the Preliminary Final last year, leading 14-0 after 13 minutes to then be belted.

Here come the mighty Rabbitohs!

Top article.
I’m over all the negative comments about our national team, we’re rebuilding our squad and if 70 minutes of the Chile game was anything to go by, there’s a bright future ahead.
There’s always going to be mistakes, but that’s the nature of the beast.

Bring on the Asian Cup

Well it’s simple, really.. if NSW win on Wednesday, it breaks an eight year drought.
That’s the history.

Have you got your tickets for Origin history?

Honestly, I still don’t rate them.
They’ve had a fairly soft draw over the recent weeks, when they last came up against someone note (Souths), they were beaten 18-2.
It’s easy to rocket into Top 4 discussions when you’ve played teams such as the Titans, Cronulla (who won by 4), Knights, Raiders and Parra recently.
While you only play who is in front of you, and it’s all well to be in the top 4 at the moment, it will be interesting to see how they fare in the last third of the season, Brisbane R18, Roosters R19, Dogs 21, just to name a couple.

There's a lot to like about the Panthers

It’s before my time, but League back in the 70s/80s had a lot more of the ‘roughness’, that’s now non-existent in today’s game.
The media spotlight on the physicality isn’t helping too much imo, like someone said earlier in the comments, we’re just noticing it more.
Doesn’t need to be addled any moreso than it is.

Rugby league is getting too rough

I would definitely like to see a PNG team in next expansion, assuming they could get everything right – league is #1 over there, and their fans are crazy about the sport.
They are heavily supported in the QLD Cup, I don’t think they’d be too far away from an NRL bid.

Where should the NRL look to next for expansion?

I did not have any idea he was in line for his 300th game until this exact article.
Never set the world on fire, but to make 300 games is an achievement in itself.
