Foord wants a loud crowd in Sydney 😂 😂 😂

World Cup Diary: Foord challenges Sydney to be louder than Melbourne for Matildas, USA stunned by Swedes

“No soccer, no worries”
-Andrea Pirlo.

FA vow 'strongest sanctions available' after 'unforgivable' A-League scenes, Victory fan group issue statement

The power of Football. The only sport that compels pundits of other sports to share their opinions.

What a dive: why this league fan just cannot commit full-time to soccer

Getting Grandpa Simpson vibes from Tyler, the way he gets easily side-tracked.

Martin Tyler's commentary is ruining this World Cup - time to either put some effort in or retire

So the entire nation of Peru has been disrespectful because one of their TV pundits made some harsh but fairly accurate comments to a Peruvian audience? A bit of a hypocritical article.

Enough with the Socceroos niceties. Cop that, Peru!

Correct decision. Arnold should be given the chance to fail completely.

Arnie in! Graham Arnold to continue on as head coach of the Socceroos

Good News? You’re a glass half full kinda guy I see 😁

Pressure mounts on Arnold as Socceroos lose again

And yet, that NSL produced players like Viduka,Zelic,Shwarzer,Bosnich,Grella, Bresciano,Okon, Vieri…etc. What has the A-League given us?

REACTION: Arnold's future questioned as Socceroos 'didn't take a swing,' leaving World Cup hopes in peril

We still talking about this are we?
Wow.

Sam Kerr's childish sledge lacked class

Im tipping a Brasil v Colombia final.

This has been one of the best World Cups in years

Losing ‘admirably’.
What a joke!
Like I said, Im obviously in the minority, but look at the opposition we had in 2014.I remember the worried look on Van Gaal’s face after he realized we weren’t afraid of them.
We only started playing more offensively and created more chances after we conceded against France and Denmark.Who knows what could have happened if we actually started those games with an attacking mindset.

Foz, take a chill pill - we needed Van Marwijk

What exactly did Van Marwijk do?
Nothing.
I know I’m in the minority but I preferred the way we played in 2014.

Foz, take a chill pill - we needed Van Marwijk

People are happy with Van Marwijk’s approach, yet Pim Verbeek was lambasted for a similar approach.
Go figure.

The Socceroos need to do more than just participate in the World Cup

Can’t believe Luongo wasn’t utilised once during this World Cup.

Isn’t the saying: ‘the jig is up’?

The gig is up Bert; now do what we want

Whilst every man and his dog has jumped on the Timmy bandwagon, what is puzzling is the lack of game time for Luongo who seemed to suit BvM’s style quite well in the warm up games.

Is van Marwijk making the same mistakes as Verbeek?

Such a goal scoring threat that Millwall used him for a total of 68 minutes in a season.

Cahill the answer to the Socceroos' scoring problems

Everyone talking about Arzani and Cahill, but I thought this would have been the perfect game for Mass Luongo. Especially after his performance in the warm up games. He was easily MOTM v Colombia.

Did Bert van Marwijk's tactics cost the Socceroos a win against Denmark?

never missed for villa or oz

I see your Klinsmann and raise with Rivaldo!

We need to talk about diving at the World Cup

Be happy with a draw, nick a win with a set piece. Is this the way we develop the game?
Is this what we are all happy with?
Bring back Ange. At least he was willing to have a go.

Two tactical wrinkles from the World Cup so far

You tell people not watch football if they don’t enjoy the game, maybe some people should do the same if they don’t like the comments on this site

The good, the bad and the ugly of the World Cup so far

It’s not just their streaming, but the punditry on Optus sports leaves a lot to be desired.
Schwarzer’s attempts at humour are cringeworthy, Paul okon seems to forget what was saying halfway through his sentences and Mel Mclaughlan is easy on the eyes but has all the charisma of a potato.

The good, the bad and the ugly of the World Cup so far

You can always tell when a World Cup is approaching when the haters come out of the woodwork to cash in.

Who Super Rugby fans should support at the FIFA World Cup

and don’t forget Kewell’s offside goal.

Stuttgart will always be the craziest game in Australia's footballing history
