First of all, congratulations to the Wallabies. Well deserved victors on the day. What a game of rugby it was. The South African supporters are furious as can be expected. They want blood and they won’t lie down until they get it. And they want to see the end of our funny moustache man.
No one has a crystal ball, but the stars are lining up for a Wallaby win over the All Blacks in Sydney. South Africa is gearing up for another win over Australia at altitude this weekend and that would leave Australia under immense pressure to come up with a win in Sydney.
This looks set to be a cracker of a game. Australia has their tails up after the win in Brisbane, but the Boks always perform when under pressure. History is on the side of South Africa.
There is no doubt that Mixed Martial Arts, or MMA, is one of the fastest growing sports in the world today. For the untrained eye, it looks like a human cockfight. Blood, sweat, kicks and punches flying everywhere.
As a South African, I was very sad to hear that South Africa was complaining about the referee after their defeats to New Zealand.
I placed a large sum of money on South Africa or France to win the 2007 World Cup and on New Zealand to choke again. My reasons were simple: South Africa rested their players at the right time, we had a settled starting 15, and New Zealand had a different 15 every second game.
