Agreed RahRah.
The article is painfully condescending and many of the writer’s propositions are just absurd (i.e. Ned Hanigan being the only viable option at 6).
This is no doubt the work of a blind Waratah’s diehard.
This Wallabies side selects itself
“You want to be picking everyone who has got form in Super Rugby but there’s some selections in that squad that aren’t Super Rugby form,” Cheika said. “Kane Douglas is not. I want to push him to get something out of him.
“That Super Rugby form is in the past now. It’s not going to give us anything when we turn up on the 19th [of August].”
At least the bloke is honest that he’s just picking his favourites (being present and former Waratahs) but its a travesty for the game in this country.
Beale back, vice-captains named in Wallabies' 34-man Bledisloe squad
This is Cheika and the ARU doing everything they can to enforce Waratah mediocrity on the Wallabies for the next decade.
It's official: Michael Hooper named as Wallabies captain
God just walk away ARU. Sanzar is hopeless.
Japanese Super Rugby team faces plenty of challenges, SANZAR remain firm in support
The Wallabies RWC squad announcement merely coincided with the Waratahs class of 2014 one-year reunion.
Wallabies World Cup squad announced: Horwill misses out
Douglas and Skelton are both passengers. Silly leaving Howill out when he was the standout for the RC.
Palu is another shocker. Cheika clearly had picked this squad from 2014, he was never going to change it. This would explain how Phipps (at the expense of White) made it after his trash performances.
Good luck having Moore and Polota Nau play 7 matches back-to-back too.
Wallabies World Cup squad announced: Horwill misses out
That’s a big middle finger from the QRU to all the Reds fans out there.
What tossers.
Richard Graham reappointed as Reds coach for 2016 Super Rugby season
Agreed.
Palu can’t play 20 minutes let alone 80 so i’d expect Poey to be on sooner rather than later.
Wallabies team to play All Blacks for Bledisloe 2: Cooper to start
Good work, ARU. Now find us a decent coach.
Kane Douglas signs with the Reds, will be available for World Cup
Brilliant game by Skelton. He definitely stepped up when the pressure was on him.
Admittedly he can be a tad suspect at times with sportsmanship but no complaints that game.
Hooper cited for striking against Argentina
Cheap shots and unsporting conduct sums up Argentina. But it isn’t a good look for Hooper.
Hooper cited for striking against Argentina
Mate, I’m hard pressed to think of any other country where this occurs in world rugby.
I’m obviously not advocating for no crowds, just ones that aren’t full of tossers.
It’s disappointing you’re justifying this behaviour too.
SPIRO: Wallabies and All Blacks to continue their winning way
No team should be required to play against Argentina at home until they sort out their appalling stadium security.
It’s ridiculous that players have to contend with morons shining laser lights in their eyes whilst going for penalties and conversions.
SPIRO: Wallabies and All Blacks to continue their winning way
Very smart changes.
This is the team that should’ve faced the Boks.
Wallabies team to play Argentina: Cheika rings the changes
The same didn’t apply to Giteau. But I guess Hooper isn’t playing centre.
Wallabies team to play Springboks: Giteau, Hooper to start
Look at who was coaching the Reds and I’m telling you, everything will make sense.
Wallabies team to play Springboks: Giteau, Hooper to start
I wonder how long it will take him to get carded?
Wallabies team to play Springboks: Giteau, Hooper to start
Boks to control the ball and the game. No hope forcing turnovers with these ‘fowards’. May as well have the backrow joining the backline!
Wallabies team to play Springboks: Giteau, Hooper to start
What a farce! I can’t even comprehend picking Hooper over Pocock against the Boks. Cheika had obviously made up his mind before the SupeRugby season had even started.
Wallabies team to play Springboks: Giteau, Hooper to start
I’m sick of looking at Hoopers bare legs. He needs to go back and work on keeping his socks up for a full 80min before he can be considered.
Hooper versus Pocock: A statistical breakdown
That was an incredibly puerile contribution, Chook. In any event, I wouldn’t expect you to be capable of perceiving a Wallabies team outside the prism of NSW rugby.
