Berrick could also come on later to kick a few drop goals if needed..

Wallabies vs Springboks: RWC Quarter Finals Q&A

Good article. According to the panel on Foxsport’s ‘The Rugby Club’ after reviewing the Ireland game he admitted that three of the penalties against the Wallabies were wrong. It makes you wonder how he still gets a gig in the quarter final?

Wallabies can do it with TH Lawrence in hearts

haha! True, I’ve only been following rugby this year (as may be noticeable with my lack of knowledge in some areas) but I just liked the way he played this year and thought he’d be better than no one.. but yeah, good point.

Deans' latest selections are too little, too late

Also, wIth the younger players we did see a bit of this year (Menzel, Duncan, Christensen, Vardy, West) there are also a few other good young players coming through like Billie Smedts (first round draft pick last year and is spoken very highly of), Steven Motlop, Cameron Guthrie, Taylor Hunt who was in the cats best 22 at one stage, Mitch Brown, and a few others too. The future of Geelong sure does look exciting.

I also find it amazing that with being so high up the ladder each year, Stephen Wells and his team continue to find such great players with low picks in the draft.

Looking at Geelong Cat's chances in 2012

I live in Adelaide and my school is a rugby league dominated school, like many others. Most of the students play rugby league so i’m pretty sure they’d have an intrest in actually going to a team and watching the sport..

Don't forget Origin when talking expansion

I live in Adelaide and i know a fair few rugby league supporters here.. I think a few games here a year would work well.

But, Channel 9 here doesn’t even show State of Origin live, I can’t watch it until 10 that night. If you want to expand here you have to at least let us watch State of Origin live on TV..

South Australia needed in expansion, Gallop says

I’ve heard A.Faingaa will be back as well.

Our hopes rest with the Queensland Reds

I can’t decide! at first I was a fan of the Force because James O’Connor is my favourite player, but i started to get sick of them always loosing but i still watch all there games, my dad is also a Waratahs supporter, i love the way the Reds are playing and the Rebels are the closest team to me. so i go for all of them but the Brumbies. (:

Rugby rising on a tide that floats all boats

Thankyou! I want to be a sports journalist when I’m older.

James O'Connor to play at 12 for Wallabies

I agree, especially being someone who last year couldn’t have named one rugby union team in Australia. I now watch as many Australian teams in the Super Rugby as possible, but I can’t go to any because I live in AFL-dominated Adelaide. In just my first year of watching rugby union me and my family have booked to go to Brisbane to watch the Wallabies play the All Blacks. Australia have some young players that are great to watch. 🙂

Rugby rising on a tide that floats all boats

and sorry guys that the article isn’t that informative.. it’s only my first year of following rugby union this year, i’m fourteen, i live in adelaide where no one knows anything about rugby and it’s the first article i’ve every written.. ahha 🙂

James O'Connor to play at 12 for Wallabies

True, and he’s only twenty so James will have plently of oppurtunity in the future to play at 12.

James O'Connor to play at 12 for Wallabies

I think O’Connor would get most kicking duties but for longer distance kicks I think Kurtley Beale would take them. Then if needed Quade could kick the drop goals?

Who has their kicking boots and radar going?
