100% correct AJ

Small-time thinking won’t achieve big-time goals

Murali was a pitcher not a bowler

Test cricket's unbroken bowling records

All you need to know about this administration is that a senior official gave a character reference to a repeat sex offender to goal umpire junior matches.

Losing interest in this league by the day, barely watch it outside my own team and barely watch any of the shows anymore.

I am not the only person saying this.

The AFL’s administration has failed and it must be changed

Spot on AJ

It’s Round 3 - lay off the State of Origin talk!

Isn’t that how cricket works in the real world?

Junior cricket must change for future Test success

100% spot on, I wrote a very similar piece the day the new junior formats was announced on this very website.

Are Cricket Australia trying to kill Test cricket?

The problems are real and nobody wants to admit it

Junior cricket must change for future Test success

Nail. Hit. On. Head.

This is what CA are sewing with the changes to junior cricket and they will reap it. Now we are having split innings 2-day games being forced on us. Kids will never bat or bowl/field for more than 20 overs at a time.

We are headed towards T20 being cricket where are asked to follow contrived “franchises” that play for a few weeks every year.

Its not cricket is a hybrid game of baseball and cricket. I love both and would rather watch cricket or baseball.

The game is dying and the ICC/CA don’t seem to care.

Is this cricket now?

Absolutely nothing will happen. If they cheated and won a premiership a precedent has been set

Sorry Cronulla, but violating the salary cap in the past isn't just a "historical issue"

Let’s see how they handle this one. I bet with a feather duster, after all Cronulla are a Sydney club and not an easy target club out of the way in a non RL saturated market

Sorry Cronulla, but violating the salary cap in the past isn't just a "historical issue"

Just for a bit of perspective, Australia have won 2 of their last 23 tests in Asia while the Asian teams are 1 win from 23.

Doesn’t change the fact though that this loss is one of the worst in our history.

The picking of SOK into the squad is a complete disgrace.

Bangladesh record historic victory over Australia

You know they won’t though

Was a complete dog act. Not sure who makes you the decider of who is a reliable source of truth. I watched the same game as you

Why was Sia Soliola not sent off? Ask Tony Archer

It may have just been his intent to try and break his shoulder again which would end his career. Either way its a dog act. We can all agree that the refs have hit an all time low

Why was Sia Soliola not sent off? Ask Tony Archer

A swinging arm with a clenched fist is not deliberate?

Why was Sia Soliola not sent off? Ask Tony Archer

This whole narrative on the Storm is boring and lazy, every team does it but only one gets any heat for it because they are out of the NRL bubble and an easy target. If you actually watched the game on Saturday you will see the Raiders were the ones wresting, grappling, kneeing etc etc. They slowed the game down at every possible opportunity going against all their strengths and paid the price for it.

As for Soliola, who cares if Billy slipped. The fact is he had intent with a swinging left fist and was bloody lucky he didn’t hit him higher.

That game on Saturday was horribly refereed, the Raiders final pass for a “touchdown” would have made Tom Brady proud.

Why was Sia Soliola not sent off? Ask Tony Archer

It completely compromises the integrity of the competition the way it is. Very hard for a team missing 3 future immortals to beat anyone.

Time for a State of Origin rethink

Thanks for that. Its getting up my goat more and more by the year. The impact on the Storm this year is just rediculous

Time for a State of Origin rethink

That’s a good step forward and yes I had forgotten about that. Hopefully a first step towards the whole series being played in one three week period

Time for a State of Origin rethink

Fixing the Origin period is the number one priority

How to fix rugby league in five easy lessons

We will be just fine. The new Smith, Croft, Munster, Hughes etc will ensure we remain a force

What if the Melbourne Storm salary cap scandal was never discovered?

Its hard to believe we used to have wait until 10.30 on a Tuesday night to see any NFL but those Don Lane shows were fantastic. As an Eagles fan we didnt get to see our team much on that show other than the highlights of each game.

Those were great times.

How a freakishly talented runner started my NFL love affair

My son is in U12’s and was bowling close to 80 kph I am genuinely worried that he will hurt a kid coming off a pitch thats 4 meters shorter.

Are Cricket Australia trying to kill Test cricket?

Spot on Dave, unfortunately CA seems to be completely out of touch with the real world. The return home of Steve Smith from the SL tour is so disrespectful to SL and for me sums up an organisation that is caught up in the political correctness madness that is gripping the workd.

Are Cricket Australia trying to kill Test cricket?

Matth – this is precisely the point. Also spin bowlers will just become slow dart chuckers
