Eleven talking points from NRL Round 9
I do hate seeing block play after block play. (The outside runner running the angle in and the ball going out the back to the inside runner swooping out wide) I think the Storm were one of the first sides to run it. Now they all do. But the Storm were so successful at it and we see so many tries from it in the corner. Definitely miss seeing more ad hoc footy. I hope to see players like Barba and Benji creating things not just sticking to set plays.
All Star game a fantastic prelude to the NRL
Yea you’re right. The Titans were more under strength and still managed to lift. Inu and Perrett tried hard… Needed more zing…

Gordon has been in everything, three tries tonight. Bird dummies, runs, close to the line, just when it looks like he’s wrapped up he snorts and buffs and frees he arm, passes to the winger Gordon, he dives in the corner. Sezer AGAIN is successful with the conversion TITANS lead 24-16 ONE MINUTE REMAINING

Dogs once again bring it out of their half. They have scored a brilliant try here. I thought it may have been a forward pass but they go upstairs so disregard that, checkingg for a knock on from Reynolds into his own player Morris. A try from nothing if Morris hasn’t gotten in the way… What a fight back! They are looking at it a few times. Im unsure… TRY TIME the lights spin green well done doggies. Offload by Inu to Reynolds to run forty and put it under the black dot

Mitch Brown looked to streak away until he was cut down. Knock on or has Myles led in with his big ugly melon? OUCH. Accidental head clash, Brown spilt the pill. Titans have the ball, in a very good position SCRUM
