Yes, they fell away as we approached the end of the season but they’ll be more consistent next season.

Thanks.
“The premier league is basically a competition between half a dozen teams trying to win it… ten trying to stay in it, and a couple just happy to finish in a comfortable 8th or 9th.”
You summed it up beautifully there mate!
Yes, the last weekend is always very exciting. But this season, it reaches a whole new level- Chelsea, Man City, Liverpool (hopefully Arsenal too, although they’re 4 pts off the top) fighting for the league title; Everton, Tottenham & Man U fighting for a CL spot, and further down the pack about 6 teams fighting for survival.
While it(relegation battle) isn’t exactly rosy for fans of a particular club, its quite exciting for the neutrals.

David Luis is clearly too inconsistent to start as a centre-back alongside terry/cahill at a team like Chelsea. He was a lot better when playing as a defensive midfielder.
But then he is dispossessed quite easily and his discipline is a bit lacking. Make up for it with is killer long pass, which arguably the same as John Terry!
Trust me, he won’t be missed on the field. Off it though, he would be missed…
Chelsea already have Zouma, and Kalas and are still chasing Varane. So the Luiz deal is surely a wise one. Selling players who weren’t regular starters for hefty prices is something new that we have learned about Mourinho this time round, Lets hope he leads Chelsea to a better performance next season.
