Pendles hasn’t polled too well in the past due to Swan always stealing votes off him in games where is was expected to poll more. This year is the one where it will change as Pendles has been outstanding and Swan has been quite ordinary, bar a small handful of games. Expect him to finish in the Top 3 at the very least, if he maintains his form.
Brownlow Banter: The odds are in Ablett's favour
Yep, fair point! Would not be a good look. It would be a shame if Ablett didn’t win due to the fact he deserves it based upon his entire year up until now. Fyfe looks to be the second best in form player at the moment, so it would certainly would be a stinger if he finishes as the outright (ineligible) winner.
Whatever happens, if a player has a narrow win over Ablett, they wouldn’t feel the rightful winner I think.
