COMMENT: BBL Pom's disgraceful ump incident deserves bigger ban - and shame on Aussie icon for 'both-sidesing' it

The running on the pitch is a minor offence and deserves a ban. Intimidating and verbally abusing at an umpire is disgraceful and has no place in this sport. This needs to be made an example of and he needs to be banned from all cricket for an extended period of time.
And also huge shame on the Sydney Sixers for defending his actions.

A real dark spot on the cricket calendar that needs to be dealt with. Last thing we need is the kind of disgraceful umpire bashing we see in soccer.

Horrible

Meh, wingers are a dime a dozen. Good luck to him.

Done deal: Wallabies star signs with NRL powerhouse in brutal reality check for RA at start of 'golden decade'

Reds will be doing well not to be at the bottom of the table, lets hope Kiss has some magic in his coaching bag.
It’s good watching so many players come up through the local ranks, but unfortunately none of them have impressed, coming off a wretched season, going to need some sort of miracle to be competitive.

COMPLETE SRP 2024 squads: Rebels the big movers, Tahs build depth, Reds shore up front-row

It’s because this is far from the best players that could be selected, it’s some bizarre self serving excuse to fail and not be held responsible. Im still at odds to work out why.

'Fall guy': Eddie doubles down on future, makes three changes as Wallabies sweat on RWC miracle

Also sad for Tupou, a year of hard work coming back from ACL and plays one forgettable game against Georgia, what a bust. As has been Skeltons Wallaby revival. They’ve both been such a waste of huge talent on the international stage

'Fall guy': Eddie doubles down on future, makes three changes as Wallabies sweat on RWC miracle

Why is Richie Arnold still there? Why is Donaldson still there? Why is Suli still there? Why is Hooper still there? There’s nothing to like about this team and it makes me angry. It rewards mediocrity and doesn’t answer any issues we’ve had or make sense playing an amateur treat like Portugal. Please go away Eddie, I don’t like you anymore

'Fall guy': Eddie doubles down on future, makes three changes as Wallabies sweat on RWC miracle

I’ve never said this about the Wallabies before, but I really hope they lose, they need to go home and really reflect on how bad this has been, beating Portugal should not give anyone an inflated opinion on how absolutely dreadful this campaign has been. Players and coaches, nobody is blameless

'Fall guy': Eddie doubles down on future, makes three changes as Wallabies sweat on RWC miracle

Yeah but individually they’ve played poorly, pretty sure Eddie didn’t teach them to fall over at line outs or lay about on the wrong side of the ruck. Eddie’s been awful, the players have been awful, no one is blameless, except maybe Josh Kemeny

'Fall guy': Eddie doubles down on future, makes three changes as Wallabies sweat on RWC miracle

This team is a load of crap. Exactly why Eddie is done. Wallabies are toast, let the squad play, no one cares about this game, stop trying to save your already crumbling reputation. FFS it’s Portugal

'Fall guy': Eddie doubles down on future, makes three changes as Wallabies sweat on RWC miracle

White was great, see how they dominated with him out there…..

Wallabies DIY player ratings from loss to Wales: TWENTY-THREE fails as captain, fullback nightmares sum up dark day

What a joke, Hodgson was a failure of a Rugby League coach, he has no business being anywhere near the Wallabies.
Our forward pack has been decimated by injuries with a really shallow pool of reserves, hard to judge.
Results are showing at this stage the caching group has been a colossal failure, is it too early too judge? Dont know, I would rather have a proven pedigree of coaches and perfect the basics as Fisher alludes to.

'Coaching staff is outstanding': Eddie assistant's bold call on 'eclectic' crew - despite their smash and grab flop

Now your thinking Ben! NBL players! we could do some sort of Zone defense. lots of high balls and let the big fellas go up and get it!
Just so crazy it may work.

This is the brutal reality: There are Aussies desperate to see Wallabies fail, and many want to see the sport's complete demise

Hmmm, tell me more of about this monorail, it might just work you know. Too late for this world cup, but 2027……

Gone in six-and-a-half minutes: where the Wallabies RWC campaign got away from them

Portugal. that is all

COMPLETE RWC Cup week 4 teams: Eddie makes changes, Fiji at full strength for QF push, Pollard to play first Test in 13 months

Does anyone actually care about this match versus Portugal? Seriously? Yay lets win on a high! yay, how amazing would it be to beat Portugal, I’ve waited my whole life to watch the mighty Wallabies down the perennial powerhouse of Portugal.
Play all the subs, give them a run, the rest of them can focus on packing their bags and organising their early check in in the Qantas lounge.

This is a good comment, how many times I remember Genia popping up taking the little dinky kicks behind the line. He read the game and knew what was happening, something today’s Wallabies lack, Rugby IQ.

Gone in six-and-a-half minutes: where the Wallabies RWC campaign got away from them

From the kick off to the final whistle, there wasn’t one part of the Wallabies performance that made me sit up and go, “Ok then, this looks better, I see what’s happening”
Not one player walks out of that match with the reputation enhanced.
Yes I’m cranky, Yes I’m repeating what thousands of others are discussing, because these are professional athletes, who get paid to train and study and get better, supposedly the best we can produce in Australia, playing in the biggest game of their careers, and that is what they dish up.

Gone in six-and-a-half minutes: where the Wallabies RWC campaign got away from them

Nice story, this world cup was lost well before those 6 minutes……. months before.

Gone in six-and-a-half minutes: where the Wallabies RWC campaign got away from them

The writing was on the wall, Lot of poor selections backed up by unfortunate injuries.
We’re short on props, so AAA going down and then Tupou spelt disaster. Slipper should have been put out to pasture last year, noone else is up to standard. Bell is fighting a one man battle, and he’s always been a poor scrummager.
Porecki is barely a super rugby starter, let alone captain. BPA was the only hooker barely good enough.
Skelton going down spelt doom. Arnold is terrible, just terrible. Phillip should have started
Frost is good, otherwise cupboard is bare. NEville, Swain, hollway aren’t good enough.
Hooper has been hugely disappointing. but he’s young, he’ll improve.
Leota. No, doest know whats he’s doing, physical but clueless.
Valentini tries hard, bit of a one trick pony though.
Tate is athletic, but low rugby IQ. not a game manager. White has dropped off massively over the last few years.
Donaldson, what a joke, barely club rugby. Everyone in the world knows it was Cooper, daylight second, with Carter learning the ropes.
Kerevi looked a shadow of his former self. getting fat form Japan rugby and couldnt care less. turf him. Where is Irae? has rugby IQ for days, hard runner, solid defender.
Petaia is a winger or fullback, what a disaster with him at 13. IT was Ikitau, then Perese, if case of emergency then call FLook.
MArky mark did his job, but didnt have a decent 10 giving him a chance. Koro is hard working but very basic, has limited effect, his time is done.
Kellaway looked burnt. solid player, let down by poor coaching.
The team got what they deserved. Hindsight shows the whole build up was wrong.
Hopefully the hurt drives them to work harder, study the game, learn what they did wrong and how the world class players do it better. Then train train train.

'F--- mate, what didn't go wrong?' 'Raw, devastated' Wallabies 'got bashed' - players react, Foley weighs in, after disaster

Wallabies have now zero hope against Wales. Slipper is a shadow of his former self, age has caught up with him and he is a liability. Arnold is just terrible, brings nothing. Needs to be Phillip starting. Hopefully Pone is fit.
Wallabies need to do everything they can to work on securing the ball at ruck, I’ve never seen a team give such little attention to getting on the ball at the tackle, really really lazy and amateur level stuff.

Eddie gives shocking update on Skelton and Tupou injuries after Fiji disaster

Sloppy, lazy, disconnected. Pathetic. Worst wallaby team ever.

'Eddie got found out': Jones in spotlight as 'ferocious' Fiji leave Wallabies RWC hopes hanging by thread in 69 year first

Wow, Argentina were so bad it was embarrassing to watch them. What were they actually doing? Samoa will put 50 on them unless they turn things around quickly

'We dug in for Cuzza': England overcome their first-ever RWC red card to quell Argentina

My guess is this, what are Marky Mark and Vuli best asset? Going after high balls, what can Donaldson do? Put up high balls. May be another little plan Eddies is waiting to unleash at the Dance.

Comment: Eddie Jones has taken risks by naming his big three for Wallabies opener - but he had to

Australia were dour in this series, got lucky through weather. Batting was fragile, bowling looked loose. England far and away the better team in this series.
Sad ending but got more than they deserve this series.
