Excellent point mate, it just doesn’t seem to have been thought through!
Is there a good way to schedule byes?
Thanks for not dumping Port further down the ladder there McRath.
It is quite difficult being a supporter of them and it is a cross I have to bear. However, wins like the one on Saturday are very rewarding when they eventually come along.
Personally I think that the Suns will beat Melbourne leaving the Dees to take the coveted 18th place on the ladder.
Contenders and pretenders for the AFL wooden spoon
I tend to agree with McRath here. He was matched up against school kids and never had much opposition in that first quarter. Against better opposition they can’t afford to have Merrett up forward as he will be needed at the other end to stop goals.

Completely agree!
I support South Adelaide in the SANFL who haven’t won a premiership since 1964, well before I was born. They have only looked like it twice since then and curren’ty don’t look close. But do I give up on them? No! I support them and am truly honoured to go and see them when they make the finals and inevitably fail to make the big one. So to those supporters of teams that are always up the top, enjoy the good times as you never know when the next one will come along.
Supporting a loser will make you love sport
No, the AFL does have corporate deals with the betting agencies. They recieve a piece of the pie from wagers on AFL games.
AFL's late withdrawals annoying the fans

Need to check a few facts there mate.
Power were in the 07 GF and didn’t make the finals in 08.
Adelaide united were the first team to make the QF’s but they actually did this a few years ago when the reached the GF and have now backed that up this time around with a QF appearance.
