Footy (AFL) and Cricket tragic! Definite 4th grader in both sports but despite that I love playing, watching, learning. Massive sports fan in general but I honestly don't have time to waste on Rugby League!

I want to know where you’re getting your inside word from. Some transfers are expected to happen but some of these are from right field.

Also, I’m not sure how many players Chelsea have on loan, but I’m sure that more than 30 of them are particularly talented.

Awaiting the most exciting transfer window in EPL history

Canberra, and I’m a Swans fan, have been from a very young age. But I’m an AFL fan in general usually watch upward of 3 of 4 games a week live, me and my housemates all support different clubs so there’s always AFL on the TV most Friday and Saturday nights.

Could Optus be the reason Australians stop loving football?

I have actually, I support Sydney FC, and I do try to watch it where I can, I particularly loved what Adelaide did this year and am a big fan of WSW are bringing to the league in terms of supporters and atmosphere at games. But if I’m honest, AFL takes priority during prime time, which is another reason I was so into the EPL, especially during winter months where most games were on at midnight.

For those interested, I would not consider myself a die-hard football fan, as the article has outlined I am a relatively new fan of football through my exposure to the EPL. I have been following the Socceroos for some time as I was about 12 when they made the world cup in 06. Personally I wont be. We ‘re keeping Foxtel in house for Bein purposes, I actually am excited to watch the other leagues, as you could probably guess I’ve been following the Champions league and Europa League (even back when it was called the UEFA cup weekday mornings on SBS) for some time and do know a bit about a lot of European clubs. I’m very excited to watch the Euros this winter. I’m writing from the perspective of people In my situation who could definitely stop watching football all together. Perhaps those ‘Anglos’ which you commenters keep referring to. It’s sad, those people might not be football fans in your opinion, I’m just saying, those people are out there..

Yeah unfortunately I didn’t see that post until I woke up this morning. It definitely changes the dynamic, Delayed games will mean more people stay engaged with the EPL

Mother is an Indonesian immigrant but thank you for the assumption.

It says something about North, Sydney, Adelaide and even GWS for me, that not one player can win it, purely based on the performances by those around them.

Personally I think as usually it has to be a bit of a lone midfielder in a team with a lot of wins.

As much as it hurts to say, I think Sam Mitchell, Joel Selwood are the two favorites. Patty D might feature if he can consistently break a tag.

Who is the 2016 Brownlow Medal favourite?

Oh man,

This is right up my alley

The law of the average

Yeah you’re right.

I actually wrote ‘scratch that, it would only work if Leicester wore sky blue’

But a roar editor changed it to what you see.

I’m not an idiot I promise, scratch that, I am an idiot. But I know that much.

Leicester 2.0. How will the Foxes 2015-16 epitaph read?

Great Read, I was year 6 and 7 in 05 and 06 and these contest are what made me love footy the way I do today.

My granddad used to take me to games at the SCG as a young fella on my school holidays (I lived in Canberra but spent holidays in Sydney) where I became a fan, he passed away in early 2005 so It was only fair that they won the premiership that year.

Me and my old man made the drive down for 06, which was heartbreaking but I’m glad I can say ‘I was there, I saw one of those grand finals.’ what a little era that was.

Did anyone actually read the article: to all above

Australia doesn't care about T20 cricket, but should we?

Legend of the sport of basketball, there’s loads of young women playing basketball now and coming onto the professional scene that would have done it all because of Loz

Farewell to Lauren Jackson: The greatest Australian basketball player

This is still hands down my favourite comment all time.

Pretty average: Why we can't stand Shane Watson

Or… the central coast as proposed.

Titans fans won’t Bear north Sydney takeover

I’d love to see the young bombers rattle a few cages, as a Sydney fan I was hugely disappointed to see Bird go, I think he’s only just behind Hannebery and Parker, The bombers were a great result for him with Sydney looking like theyre fading out of that ‘real premiership contender’ category. Look forward to him putting up back to back 30+ games.

Bold Bombers have a recipe for success

I heard she’s been approached by Channel 7 for pretty good money, which might be a pretty good deal for her seeing as they’ve got the Olympics, which will showcase the matilda’s as far as I’m aware.

I love that she’s still going to be making money out of the situation, but in the professional sense rather than selling a cheap story.

Mel McLaughlin, take a bow

You’ve put the mockers on him Lordie!

Chris Rogers closing in on little-known Test record

But I think that doesn’t matter, 6 is a bowling allrounder’s spot, which Marsh in my eyes is, as he is a better bowler than Watson that should see him in the side.

Is Watson's career in flames, or will a move to six see him through the Ashes?

Hopefully india can keep it together long enough for him to bat again.

Smith could better Bradman, but can he catch him?

Yeah exactly, bloody tough gig

The age-old adage about umpires' old age

Two centuries against a thoroughly beaten side when it doesn’t matter. (i.e. second inning in perth)

Patience is a virtue: Shane Watson and the Australian public

It’s only pressure if the bowling team plays like it is (see above)

Patience is a virtue: Shane Watson and the Australian public

I did think that, BUT if you go back, and have a look at the innings the Indians put 0 pressure on him from ball 1, it was a cracking short delivery first ball of the over and dhoni dropped it and let him get to the other end.

They bowled poor lines and allowed him to score instead of bowling tight and making him make the mistake. I sat there shaking my head.

No he’s not a genuine fighter when it comes to coming back from injuries because HE KNOWS HE’LL GET PICKED IF HE CAN PUT ONE FOOT IN FRONT OF THE OTHER,

Also he hasn’t played for the bulls since 2009 so I’m probably going to disregard your whole article.

All that’s left is for Australia to start picking people under 25

Australia's under-24 Test XI makes the future look bright

It’s a very difficult job, I think every kid grows up wanting to play not umpiring.

Not to forget even if someone starts umpiring at 20 it’s not like you can hit 100s and go up the levels in the space of 3 years.

It’s a job where you’re judged on how many mistakes you make so it takes a lot of experience to go up the levels.
