Introduce more variety in Olympic sports please

At the moment I’m watching the cycling in the Olympics and I have realised there is one common theme with most sports in the Olympics: no one knows the rules. Since when did cycling involve points, and what the hell are they doing in judo?

Saturday night’s game against the All Blacks was very convincing. 78,000 people turned out to see what has been said to be the best Bledisloe Cup game since 2000, well maybe not for the All Blacks.

The Wallabies wins against South Africa and France were good. They have quickly changed from the team we saw in the World Cup into the team that in recent weeks has beaten the world number one and pose a threat against the world number two.

The Waratahs’ strategy is flawed

Oh Knives Out, why do you even bother putting forth your argument over and over again when we all know that it is poorly put-forth and the only reason that you write these articles is to put down the Waratahs. Not every team is a Fantasy team, that’s just not going to happen, but if you’re so critical about the Waratahs note this: Luke Burgus: Wallaby scrumhalf Kurtly Beal: Captain of Australian school boys and has potential to be a great player Lote Tuqiri: Wallaby player and excellent attacker and defender. Tom Carter: Great all-round player Rob Horne: Excellent talker- has only missed 5% of tackles Lachie Turner: Wallaby player, great speed SNK: Wallaby player and can play well anywhere in the backs Daniel Hal: Potential to be a great player Timana Tahu: Wallaby player and potential to be great To put it simply I’d say that is a pretty good back line. To be fair they haven’t gelled perfectly yet but Hickey did say to expect the great things to happen later in the year. I’d say that’s a pretty good unit. So just except that you hate the Tahs and that the Blues are bellow the Tahs. Oh and for that whole, the game has changed since your time... your best days were in 2002, not just the All Blacks have changed since then but the game. There is a lot less of “give it to the thick prop and hope for the best” but the ELV’s have made a faster flowing, give it to the backs type of game, a game which in time will make the Waratahs’ backline extremely good.

The Waratahs’ strategy is flawed

Knives Out, "There are far better units all over the S14. The Blues, Chiefs, Sharks, Force and Reds". Well assuming that your talking about this years performances, you have it wrong, the Waratahs are higher on the ladder than 60% of the teams you mentioned and if your talking about for and against,the Waratahs have concided less points that all of the teams you mentioned,proving the Waratahs backline is strong in attack and deffence. NEGATIVE POINTS FOR YOU FOR THAT COMMENT. I think it is also worth pointing out that through history, only the one of the teams you mentioned have been more succesfull then the Tahs based on a points system (http://www.lassen.co.nz/s14tab.php). negative points for you. I would also like to point out that most comments on LHS articles have been praise. I was at the SFS watching the game on Saturday and I agree with everything he has written. The Waratahs backs don't do enough and thats why the Waratahs have scored the least points in the top 7. If your so good at French work this one out... points négatifs pour vous.
