This clown and his board are killing the game in Australia.
It’s heartbreaking to see so many families turning away from the game and following other codes.
We ditched our Fox Sports package when the Force were removed from SR and now follow Andrew Forrest.
He seems to be the only person in the Australian Rugby community at the moment…

The best players and coaching staff taken from a well performing and obviously developing team and community and integrated into Australia’s worst team … who then miraculously have success…
Any success the Melbourne Force have this year is due to that and shows what a farcical decision it was for RA to cut the Force and not the Rebels…

New-look Rebels can fill AAMI Park, says new coach Wessels
The RA performance was diabolical and it’s telling that much of the support for the WA Rugby community and the Force is coming from the eastern states.
The Melbourne Force are on a hiding to nothing as they’ve taken the respected successful coach and most of the Western Force squad. Should they succeed this year that will be the seen as the reason why.
Naturally I wish the coach and the ex Force players much individual success but definitely won’t be following the Rebels money pit or even Super Rugby now for that matter.
One thing I’ve confirmed from the Roar comments is that SR is now a flawed product and seemingly on track for dying a natural death.

A lot of pain and anger over here and can’t see that changing any time soon, in fact likely not until the third largest rugby community is considered part of the Australian game again by RA.
Also hoping and praying the RA abandonment doesn’t massively affect WA Juniors which has been growing massively in recent years from the Force effect…
Guess we’ll find out late next month.

The “national setup” is a product the fans no longer want.
The crowds just aren’t there and don’t care any more.
Add in the Rebels money pit for RA in a state where rugby was already struggling and there’s your decline.
