I do totally agree however with your analysis of Harris. Definitely should be given the chance at 12

A Wallaby backline for the Taffy threat

Morahan maybe? I’m unsure of this Monahan. and you said you would have ‘Monahan’ as your fullback, but you have him on the wing?

A Wallaby backline for the Taffy threat

Finally! Someone who realises that JOC is a 12!!!! I haven’t understood people’s ideas that he would get run over at 12, his defence has been traditionally very good. I still remember him picking up and dumping Victor Matfield only last year against the Springboks. He is too wasted on the wing, and just like you said, he has proven himself in the play making role, and he gets much more of a chance to make something happen being closer to the action.
I also totally agree with abandoning the Pat McCabe experiment. Until we have a fast, 100+ kg runner who has the skills of an inside back, there is no point trying to make someone play that role. I don’t understand either people’s idea of putting Joseph Tomane there at 12? Okay, he has played very well on the wing for the Brumbies, but that has been ‘on the wing’. Maybe you could think of putting him at 13, but he doesn’t possess that play making ability for 12. Also he has only just come over from rugby league, and I am a massive believer in making code converters experience the game a little longer than one season before they are thrust into Australian jerseys. Case in point, Timana Tahu…

Great article, keep it up!

Quade Cooper, the number 10 and the rest of the Wallaby backline

So very true. One of my reasons for looking at this topic area

Hola Argentina, and welcome to the Rugby Championship!

Nah I don’t know of him sorry.

Who will be the Wallabies' centres?

He’s super casual with the ball, nothing seems to phase him. He has the strength and power of a backrower, but he can burn you on the outside. A lot like a springbok centre. He also has really good hands and ball skills, he could play anywhere from 12-15.

Who will be the Wallabies' centres?

Could definitely see Tomane in there, he has been outstanding this season. He has reminded me of lelia masanga or tim nani-williams with all his tackle busts. And as for Sautia, I played footy against him last year at schoolboy level, I don’t think he is quite ready to play with the Wallabies. Give him a few years.

Who will be the Wallabies' centres?

Mate I totally agree. Quade is an absolutely fantastic player for the Queensland Reds and I hope he continues to play there. But his flamboyant style doesn’t suit test match rugby. I’m not saying that he should never play test rugby, but he should be able to monitor some of his ‘rash’ decisions in big game situations, like he didn’t at the World Cup. Great article, keep it up!

Why Cooper must be left out of Wallabies
