Not acceptable. There is ‘excuses’ you can make by saying we have lots of kids in the team and we are developing but there is still plenty of talented players and we should not be dishing up something like this.
We’ve played some half decent football throughout the year but have been destroyed by decent opposition on many occasions.
I’ve seen glimpses of hope but there is still a lot of work to do. We are no where near finals yet.
But I’ll continue to support the boys through it all. Chins up Freo, go back home and do some hard work.

Certainly happy to get the win going into the bye, but my word are Carlton bad or what!? Certainly makes me feel better about our development at Freo. We’ve looked good at certain stages and terrible at others but we at least seem to be trending slowly in the right direction. Lots of improvement to come.

I think it is a frustration most fans share, when their team doesn’t put their opposition to the sword. We have let teams back into the game a lot this season – today of course that didn’t matter because we were so far ahead, but that is a rare occurrence. In a few games we have been getting to around 20 or so points up and then giving that lead away way too easily.

We missed many clear-cut chances which cost us the game. But I’m glad we showed some heart and fight this week.
