I’m waiting for that day. What’s the shame in that, honestly!?
Why do AFL players put such value on loyalty?
how bout other sports? NRL, EPL , examples listed, dont fans essentially pay their wages?
Why do AFL players put such value on loyalty?
Maybe speculation about defenders just doesn’t make for as good copy. We now midfielders get all the awards and accolades in the AFL… anyway, gold coast’s best defenders have been Bock and Harbrow, but not Campbell Brown or Nathan Krakouer, while brennan has played more fwd
Can GWS outdo Gold Coast with uncontracted players?
Do they release results for the performance-enhancing drugs? Or have I missed something???
Don't knock it! AFL deserves praise for illicit drug policy
It’s two actions isn’t it. That’s what makes the difference.
Sling tackles are just another instinct which needs to go
Haha hands is back is a disaster of a rule

Whatever the case with his Ireland trip, if he really knew he could save his career, he would’ve postponed it… the guy is full of lies
A long way to go for Ricky Nixon to clear his name
unbelievable what happened once duthie thought the cameras were off…any chance of restoring ricky nixon’s credibility is forever gone now… what a joke
A long way to go for Ricky Nixon to clear his name
Ricky Nixon needs to stop telling fibs. He got caught out last night on the Footy Show, as much as they tried to let him have his say. When they showed the footage of Duthie on 7pm project when she thought the cameras were off, his whole facade went out the window. For him to then try and smooth it over was awful. The guy needs to stop telling fibs. own up to your mistakes and we might give you a chance again…..

Huge Matera fan. Not so much a fan of the god-awful headline pun!
I'm into Sun-thing good: the Gold Coast Suns
i think sunday the way it is is perfect. so saturday should try replicate that, but the problem is its left with too many games. maybe 1 on friday, 4 sat, 4 sun?
What's the best timeslot for the AFL's ninth fixture?
i dont get Damien’s original idea, using non-Victorian teams on Friday night. Why would West Coast or Adelaide appeal to Qld or NSW anymore than Essendon or Carlton? It’s not like GC, BL, Sydney or GWS will play each other every week!?
What's the best timeslot for the AFL's ninth fixture?
agree. in relative terms to overseas number one sports, they arent paid well at all.
How AFL should share the $1.25 billion pie
in communist russia, there;s no such thing as rivalries, alll equal!
ANZAC Day debate shows weaker clubs must change
GF rematch doesnt work for two reasons,
a) redb’s point, its a drawcard anyway, so why waste it on anzac day
b) it wouldnt always be 2 victorian clubs which would hurt the attendance figures
leave it!
ANZAC Day debate shows weaker clubs must change
As a WA fan, I couldnt believe it when I read bout that MCC mess. In WA the WCE members are more than the Subi Oval capacity so members who cant attend one specific game can put their tickets up for people to buy. something similar needs to be done at MCG
ANZAC Day debate shows weaker clubs must change
your theory is a bit of a stretch. but hey, maybe ur right.
Youth may be the answer, but not for Cats
hehe probably right. i fancy theyll win 4-5 games this season. predominantly home games too. and probably finish last.
Why the Gold Coast Suns will win their debut game
Weird system the old NRL employ. but then again, it’s kinda good. gets rid of all this stuffing around and speculation. Should the AFL employ it? I dont know, wouldnt it be good to get this crap out of the way b4 finals etc?
