The secret of life is honesty and fair dealing. If you can fake that, you\'ve got it made.

We need to put to bed this idea that Gard is an ‘Aussie’. He crossed the ditch to work in private security. A Kiwi, employed by the All Blacks, plants and finds a bug. And somehow, this benefits Australia? Please.

Hansen dismisses ARU 'Spygate' complaint

Alex, my point wasn’t that Pandarm was trying to be funny, but that he’s a New Zealander. What he was doing was stirring his own people, knowing full well that “Australia” would have to shoulder the blame. And so it has predictably unfolded. It’s as funny a syphilis.

Richetty what? It's Richie McCaw, show some respect

I feel we’ve been set up, cobbers. The Richety Grub story was written by Jamie Pandaram, born in Fiji, raised in New Zealand, and a self-proclaimed All Blacks fan.

Richetty what? It's Richie McCaw, show some respect

Not cited.Good pun!

Richie McCaw not cited after Rugby World Cup semi-final

Pulling pants down? Poking bums? I thought the ABs banned that kind of homoerotic hazing after the 2003 semi-final loss?

Wallabies qualify for Rugby World Cup final with tense win over Pumas

The Wallabies can say in the last 2 AB matches that they’re beatable.

Wallabies qualify for Rugby World Cup final with tense win over Pumas

“invariably the encounters have been a cut above any other battles between any other nations”

Sure. Sure that’s right. There’s never neen a Bledisloe test to measure up to any Springbok AB game. Ever.

Ahem.

Why the Boks are still the All Blacks' biggest rivals

Steady on, Greg. The ABs and Pumas managed this in one game each, and the Pumas for about 20 minutes of their game. This world cup has been about defence, with sweeping backline tries very much the exception. No one is going to defend worse than France did against New Zealand.

Old school attacks beating modern defences at the Rugby World Cup

Surely the assertion that Joubert was wrong because Nick Phipps didn’t intentionally play at the ball, is completely refuted by Phipps statement that he did?

SPIRO: Joubert has been dudded by World Rugby for correct call

It’s only the biggest story if you think it is.

James O'Connor lets fly in long Facebook statement

Certainly if you believe that great leader of men, Spiro Zavos. On the other hand, the list of people that Spiro has thunderously blamed for this and that must number in the hundreds now, and include everyone associated with rugby.

Spiros knows as much about business as he does about rugby. Personally I think the chairman of an organisation is far better served to keep their mouth totally shut during operational crises over personnel.

James O'Connor to leave the Reds: Released for personal reasons

Who are they, Noodles? The ARU board includes some of the most distinguished lifelong contributors to Australian rugby. People like Hawker, McLean, Robinson and Eales. Is there a shadowy cadre behind them? Who is this mysterious Illuminati who are working to destroy rugby by their dark misdeeds?

As a Perth-based homeopath, I share your scientific opinion Mhs uk. What treatment do you recommend? I find a 1:1m reduction of hocus pocus usually does the trick.

Wallabies face nervous wait over David Pocock

Suck it up, Tarquin.

England coaches banned from dressing room

I did think grass!

JimmyB, that’s amazing. Are you Derren Brown?

Hooper hasn’t had seven yellows or citings in three years. He had an unblemished record as recently as the Argie TRC game this year.

McMahon in, Simmons out in Wallabies lineup to meet Wales

Blame Graham. Blame Sir JK. Blame Deans. This is the litany of the self-indulgent rugby fan, who is eager to blame anyone but their darling players, and the coach is fair game. Lord is right to avoid this easy excuse with Chieka. When the game plan is wrong, or the players’ conditioning is off, or selections are bizarre, then by all means blame the coach: those are his responsibility. When the players fail to execute, it’s their fault. Chieka didn’t stop the Waratahs forwards fronting up: they did that themselves. Nor did he throw Phipps’ passes to ground. The Waratahs lost because they played badly.

It's not Cheika's fault the Waratahs lost, so why the witch hunt?

If Potgeiter had simply turned his back and let the Lions player run into him then the yellow card might have gone the other way, given Phipps’ card.

Lost faith in mankind? Well, I guess the comments section of the Roar is as good a place as any.

The rapid rugby education of Will Skelton

Choke tackle, probably.

Pragmatism or romanticism? How will the All Blacks tackle the Rugby World Cup?

Surely they were wrong last time, or Chieka is right now?

Cheika says Naiyaravoro is "right up there" for Wallabies

Indeed so. Reasonable exception policies, and a sensible general rule, is what we have now.

Test rugby eligibility: It's simple, play for your nation of birth

Does this mean we can expect to see an exodus of disgruntled fans from the Kangaroos now?

Forget the off-field crap, the Wallabies need to start winning

Scotland already is.

Waratahs look set to lose young star Taqele Naiyaravoro

If you run the numbers for the rest of the season, the Brumbies are actually in reasonable shape to still make the finals, whether or not they finish top of the Australian conference. This was a game they could afford to lose, although it would obviously have been better if they won. Their fate is still in their own hands. If they win the games they should then they’ll get home.
