Work in the media. Long time passionate rugby and cricket fan. My dad instilled in me my love of rugby, and I''m half Indian so I'm predisposed to liking cricket anyway ;). Love the Tahs, adore the Wallabies, and wants to see bowlers be given more of a fair go at cricket

This is a really interesting team. I can’t recall the last time we have played two big, bullocking centres before.

I expect Folau to float a bit and be the second playmaker. DHP can drop back if needed if the England get the ball back. Like many of you I can’t fathom the continued selection of Dean Mumm. Why does he keep getting selected? Would have preferred Tomani or Skelton if we’re going with Horwill on the bench too.

My only concern is this isn’t a team isn’t very pacey. Horne is solid and I really like DHP but both players are fairly slow for wingers.

Can’t wait to see Fardy, Pocock and Hooper unleased on England again.

Wallabies team for first Test against England: Arnold, Kerevi and Haylett-Petty to debut

Hi Peter and Clark, thanks for your feedback.

Firstly, yes I am a woman 😉

Second, Pocock’s availability this year, along with other star players like Toomua and Beale will mean we have a decent shot of winning the Bledisloe. If we were playing two home games here I would say it is almost even money.

I am saying the All Blacks seem to lift at home. If we beat them in the first match, it’s hard to see them not rebounding in front of their home crowd. Off the top of my head the All Blacks have an 82 per cent home winning rate which is the best in the world. And I hate to pessimistic but even with a slew of stellar players leaving (and when I get home from the doctors I will address the other comments re the All Blacks, but man, Dan Carter is a legend of the game and no other All Black is as cool as ice as he is ) the All Blacks are extraordinarily tough to beat at home. We have a better chance when it played on Australian soil or on a neutral ground. But next year we will be without Pocock and maybe Beale. And other excellent players like Toomua and Tomane (who looks to be like the form Aussie winger).

I would love nothing more than to be wrong. It would be fabulous if we won it this year and I would be super excited if we won it next year as well. But historically at least this seems unlikely.

But hey, Leicester City is on top of the Premier League, so maybe miracles can happen!

No Pocock, no Bledisloe

Should be a cracking match. I’ve been mighty impressed with the Highlanders this year. I’ve never seen them play with such vim and vigour. As for the Crusaders, they are still oozing clash and I love to hate them, so here’s hoping this is the start of a rapid slide out of finals contention.
