I disagree, when you look at the pure mechanics of both Flynn and Wilson it is clear that Wilson is the superior quarterback. He has a more powerful and more accurate arm than Flynn and had the pure talent to be a first round draft pick. Yes the size is a concern but at Wisconsin he played behind the biggest line in college football, one that measured up to the size of the Packers so the size of an offensive line shouldn’t be a concern. As for throwing lanes, Wilson had only 4 passes batted all last year. To compare, Ryan Tannehill had 17 and he is 6’5. Wilson has played with the limitation of height for his entire collegiate career and understands how to succeed in spite of his height.
You are right though that the regular season will have him face challenges like he never has before and there obviously is the potential for him to fail. I think he will succeed though he will face an easy schedule and will be but into a position to succeed that no other rookie quarterback will have. I don’t think he is as good as Luck or Griffin, but I do think he belongs in the NFL.
