Hi Rhys, I like your enthusiasm, a couple of things stand out to me. While rugby exists in those coutries you mentioned in all but a couple of those countries it is a niche sport played by a very small portion of those countries population, so although their are 4 billion people in those countries, I wouldn’t be surprised if the vast portion of the population of asia had little knowledge or understanding of rugby as a concept. Saying that my good friend Brad Mika is the coach of the Borneo eagles, and has been quite successful over there. So although my optimism isn’t the same as yours, I can see potential, but it needs more than the funding of a billionaire, it needs the support of WR imo. Maybe they have an opportunity to create the second division for Super rugby, and NRC, mitre 10 cup and curry cup players without Super contracts could be added to this competition to give it credibility, while at the same limiting the number of imports per team to ensure the asian countries involved are able to develop there own players while at the same time being exposed to players who have played at higher levels of rugby, which imo could be a win win. A bit of food for thought, we can only wsit and see.

The Asian market is there for the taking, so let's think like Twiggy

Jacko it doesn’t matter what hemisphere the ref comes from. Every ref interprets the game diffrently. So adapting to refs is one of the key pillars to winning a game of rugby imo.

Second-string Lions step up in 34-6 win over Chiefs

Hi Hannes I agree talk back should be punished. But in rugby, every game of rugby played in the world, is probably being reffed differently, totally my opinion, based on no facts other than games played and games watched. From what Ive seen, my opinion is it seems every one interprets the rules so diffrently. And as the ref is the sole adjudicator, he/she is the most important person in the game. If you don’t have someone communicating, how you intend to play the game. And from there building an understanding how the ref is calling the game, you are probably at a big disadvantage. The team whom addapts the fastest to the refs interpretations helps themselves immensely imo. Thats why I see building a conversation to try and gauge how a ref thinks is the most important part of the game of rugby. For example: If you are playing a team with good linespeed, if you have rapport just saying was that offside in hearing range of a ref may or may not get the ref to check for offsides, but if he/she chooses too, most times it would slow the linespeed of the opposition defence, and even if it gives you half a second that gives your playmakers an extra moment to make a better decision or thats how I look at rugby anyway. I just think the game is usually won in the top 2%. So I get people don’t like incessant talk, but with so many diffrences in interpretation of rugbys laws it is necessary.I totally understand that could just be me who sees it like that.

Wally I have to admit I enjoy shairing my point of views with a ref and pointing out things he might of missed, always finishing with sir of course. I guess their is a thin line but it is up to the ref to lay down their boundaries, and the1 half back is basically the unofficial ref in my books hehe.

Ardie at 8. Congrats to the boy his development has been great this year. Looking forward to the AB’s making a statement with physicality and finesse. Seeing a lot of balance in this team.

Smith to captain All Blacks against Samoa

Hi PK, I thought Special k would make a perfect OC I thought about what Aussie backline I would like to see as a neutral so I came up with this 9 Genia, 10 Foley, 11 folau 12 Kerevi 13 Hunt 14 Hodge 15 Beale I would play Folau on the right wing to open up his right foot step. Also if Kerevi continues to develop his kicking game there is no reason he couldn’t be the worlds premier IC imo. Lastly i recon Hunts defence and organisation skills could unsettle a lot of attacking structures in rugby, plus if he still possesses his Kamakazi running style he had in his league days him and Kerevi could cause carnage in world rugby imo. Some of my choices maybe strange but that was the strongest backline I could think of imho. Hope your team goes well this weekend PK.

Foley sees Hunt as Wallabies' Mr Versatile

Hey Fionn I would have gone with Rory Arnold, he is a little less abrasive and always seems to have a calm demeanor, he gets stuck in and is physical and genuinely seems to have a lead by example game already imo.

Wallabies skipper ready for Scotland

NB kiwi’s are harsh but fair critics in rugby, and the Lions up until the Crusaders game hadn’t delivered up until that point so that is probably why they were judged a bit harshly imho.

The Lions finally show some crusading spirit

And I too you good sir.

Nice game of rugby. Highlanders did what Highlanders do. Much respect to the Lions but WG might be worrying about their scrum. Good to see some tries from the Lions which will be good to their confidence for sure..

Kiwi kings confused in Christchurch

Hi Clarkeg Imo if you prepare for something you able to deal with it, that is how I have always interpreted prepared. And If the Saders were prepared they imo weren’t able to deal with what C Murray was doing. But I think your understanding is always on point and I will have a look back at the game and reassess this as i must admit I am a C Murray fan, I do think Murrays passing was at time average though.

I’d be interested how many replays he needed to say if it was illegal. If he only had one he shoud be reffing the WC final.
